The service was exceptional for sure! The food was horrid-> Steak was more like beef jerky, seriously you couldn’t bite thru it. The rice was very greasy, beans runny. The “Flautas were okay) Unfortunately it was not a good first visit. The waitress was exceptional in her service.

We used to love going to Los Ponchos on 397. Finally had a free night and felt like enjoying our favorites from Los Ponchos.
As usual, chips, salsa and the black bean dip were brought to the table. Bean dip was great! Salsa was incredibly spicy, like too spicy too eat without needing a tall glass of milk to tone down the heat. The waiter was prompt getting to the table, getting our drink and then food order.
Once the food arrived is when we noticed the difference. He had the steak fajitas, and I had the Ponchos chicken breast. The vegetables that normally come with the chicken were an interesting mix this time. They weren’t horrible, but not my favorite. Then I took a bite of the chicken. It was charred, and not in a good way.
Hubby ate some of his steak fajitas, but didn’t want the rest. That’s not like him at all. He said it didn’t taste like fajitas.
Then? We were ready to leave. Ended up having to get another waiter to bring our check. We waited for a bit and then had to get up again to get checked out.
Needless to say, we will not be going back. Disappointed to say the least.

Ordered multiple items at 10 pm to go and everything, and I do mean everything was fresh, hot, and very tasty.
Paid extra for the green & red spicy salsa, and it was definitely worth the $1 cost…
The tacos, fajita chimichanga, poppers, enchilada, and monster burrito were excellent, and I’m a hard critic on food!
If you haven’t been here, go if you like Mexican food .
My leftovers even warmed up great the next day. Great food!

Maybe it’s just me, but the building gives me strip club vibes. Meal was decent but the service was excellent. I had the enchiladas supreme. Four enchiladas- cheese, bean, chicken and ground beef. Each one had a good flavor, but there’s too much chili powder for my taste. I wanted a side of rice to try out, and it was actually some of the best I’ve had. Not greasy, and nice and light.

We found this via Waze. As we pulled up, I wasn’t sure I’d like the location as it was attached to a casino. The restaurant was well separated from the casino. No casino noise, nor smoke reached us.
So glad we went into the restaurant. The food was FANTASTIC. Seasoned wonderfully, excellent portion size, and reasonable price.
The service was fantastic, our server, Arath A. was attentive, accommodating, and knew the menu well enough to make sure all of our dietary restrictions were accommodated.

Look how cool this place is! What a refreshing surprise on our trip from San Diego to Florida and back. Compliments to the owner for creating a fun, artistic, comfortable and uplifting atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is southern-style sweet. Honestly, this restraunt should be featured on one of the food-channel shows that highlights amazing restraunts in the US. To the owner / manager / designer / staff – cudos! You should be proud of your work!

This place is a gem, stumbled on it as we were driving home from a long road trip. Had lots of family with me, and everyone loved their dish. Best of all, the service was just phenomenal. I had a young man wait on us, absolutely awesome service from him. The food was, well, worth every penny. The portions are very generous, and every dish was tasty. I had two burritos, one of beef fajita and another with shrimp. My wife had the shrimp al MOJO de ago. Overall, I highly recommend it. This place is good, well worth it.
