The food was great. I enjoyed every bit of it. The place looks quite clean and the seating are decent. There is a good variety of food, even for children. Four stars for the food. However, there is this staff member that has a bit of an attitude. We brought a hydro from home and got told we cannot bring outside drinks of any kind into the restaurant. There was a person with a hydro and wasn’t told anything. They seemed to be friends with the staff members. So I do feel that is unfair to other customers. It also took a while to get our food. There was almost no one in the building and it still took a long time. That is why I gave one star to service. I absolutely loved the decor in the building. The paintings of the horses are amazing. Overall not bad place, but with that staff member with attitude, it lowered the rating.

So first off the atmosphere when you walk in is decent but the you talk to the lady at the counter ….and she’s not very friendly (you never know who’s gonna walk in through your doors at a restaurant, so maybe be nice?). She immediately gives attitude and i have no idea why maybe because she only wants Spanish speaking customers? Maybe she’s having a bad day? Whatever it was off putting i almost just walked out without ordering. However i also wanted to give the food a try and so me and my little sister ordered their bean and cheese pupusas and some drinks. We sat down and waited and the restaurant itself is nice and plain with photos on the walls. The menu was extensive and looked pretty good. The wait time for the food was decent and the food itself was actually really good. I don’t know if their menu prices have changed from what’s online but they seem to have gone up from the actual menu. So overall good food but again i have to give this place a less than stellar two stars just because of service…..and i wouldn’t want anyone to walk in to this place and have a bad experience. Maybe order ahead to go so you don’t have to deal with the front counter person for too long.

We decided to stop here since it was close to where we were servicing our car and we love Salvadorian food. Tried their pupusas and ceviche. Yummy! Will definitely go back to try more on their menu. We ordered to go at their counter. The lady taking our order was nice. The restaurant was quite large with lots of seating.

The food was spoiled . We ended up telling the server and she was very firm in it just being us but no the pupusas with chicharron and cheese were spoiled. She ended up charging us for only one meal . This was my one and only favorite pupusas places but now never going back! Let me add she also gave us a nasty attitude.

This place is not very clean. Went to pick up a to-go order. The person taking out the trash from the bathroom didn’t wash hands when proceeding to hand out food (bagged food orders). Was really disgusted by this but didn’t say anything. It’s also very awkward that the bathroom is right next to the register.

The daily specials are AWESOME! The selection is great. They messed up a TO GO order the 1st time I tried them but I went back when the same staff was there again to be compensated the missing item. I will try and go back again and again to sample most of the menu here!

Got the Great Big ‘Wet’ style Carne Asada Burrito. Food was very good, free refills on soda Pupusas are excellent. Just wish my Burrito had more meat inside and less ‘fillers’ (rice, etc.)

I’ve been here twice now because lately I’ve had an insatiable hankering for pupusas. The pupusas here are phenomenal. The curtido is very good too. And the sauce, I’m not sure the name, but the sauce that’s always served with pupusas, it’s exceptional here. The service is friendly the waitstaff tolerates my sub-par Spanish very respectfully (i.e. they don’t laugh at me, at least not in my face. I’m learning!) I feel like I’m in El Salvador when I’m sitting in this restaurant. Very authentic. Hopefully my review doesn’t lead to it’s gentrification. I recommend. And on Friday pupusas are only $1.99!

There were maggots in my Ceviche de Pescado Tostadas, bought them at the restaurant and took them home to eat, tried to call to complain but no one spoke English once I said the issue.
