Fantastic and authentic Mexican food. I always say that you can tell how good a Mexican restaurant will be by their chips and salsa. Great chips and sauce. We went for lunch. I had the beef burrito deluxe and my hubby had steak fajitas. Both were excellent. The fajitas were tops though. We will be back. We had a friendly and very good waitress too.

First time here. We really enjoyed ourselves. Had great advice from our server. Our server, Casey, was so nice. She gave us a birthday dessert that was cute and delicious. She definitely made our visit fun.

So much cilantro. Their salsa was not great. Their beef is overseasoned. Our waitress was also ill-tempered. Overall, it was not a good first visit.
I will say their queso was good – and their chicken was good. Get a chicken quesadilla, and you might be satisfied.

Italian marinara sauce on burritos, filled with meat that tastes like chemicals is an embarrassing way to represent the great nation of Mexico. Fire your cook and hire someone who knows how to make good food.

You comped the 3 tacos my husband got, that were supposed to be hard tacos, but came out on soft corn shells. The meat had no seasoning at all and the only flavor was from the onion and parsley that was suppossed to be cilantro. The $3 per taco is crazy to be so bad. To get tomatoes, sour cream and shredded cheese would put those tacos at over $6 per taco. The prices were insane, especially to get such bad food. My child tried one of the 2 tacos my husband brought home, and she said they are “A crime against humanity.”
With well over 30 years in the industry, I URGE YOU to get a new cook, and make sure they can actually produce quality recipes. You will be out of business with this food and price combination before long.

I was visiting the area tonight when my friends recommended Los Pinguinos, and I’m always down for a good Mexican restaurant! I loved the decor and the staff was really friendly. They made sure we were always taken care of! I got three tacos while my friends got the bowl and chimichangas (I believe). The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend checking these guys out!

My wife, family members and I have been there several times in just over two weeks. The food is excellent! The quantity of food for $$ paid is more than fair. The service staff are all very friendly. Everything I’ve had has been exceptionally good tasting. It is my new favorite restaurant.

Very happy there’s finally a Mexican restaurant in close proximity to where we live! Their food is reminiscent of Grand Azteca on Grosebeck in Fraser before it went downhill. They have a large menu, plenty of options to choose from. It’s a fairly small building, but we didn’t have to wait to be seated at 5:30 on a Monday night. If I had a negative comment to make, it’d be their salsa they bring to the table was lacking in a good salsa flavor & their chips I’m pretty sure weren’t house made & were equivalent to what you’d buy at any grocery store flavorwise. My meal was fantastic & it was the same thing I used to order at Grand Azteca, the Burrito Perez. It was loaded with chorizo & about six large sized shrimp on the top with a yummy white cheese sauce. Inside was tender steak, the chicken was tasty & so was the rice (I omitted the beans). I also ordered a side of grilled onions, which were flavorful. Hubby got their nachos with ground taco flavored beef, which he said was very salty to him. The establishment was very clean & our server as well as the rest of the employees were very friendly & attentive. Highly recommend trying this place out, because you won’t regret it!

Clean! That was my first thought walking in for our take out. For the price they give you a ton of food. We are definitely going back because after a 23 min drive the carry out food was still amazing so we definitely want to try it fresh. This will be our new Mexican restaurant since we are new to the area.

I had chicken nachos and added chorizo. Excellent choice. Also, it was huge, btw. My husband had the shredded beef chimichanga, (Looked to be about a half pound of beef.)* rice, and beans. He ate every bite and said it was really good. (That’s a huge compliment coming from someone who had a 100% Mexican mother and grandmother lol) Will definitely eat here again and try more things! Oh! I had the sopapillas also! So, so yummy! I give this restaurant 5 stars! (Atmosphere is a little bland, but it’s ok, everything else makes up for that, plus some!)

This was my second time eating here. Our waitress was excellent. The food is authentic Mexican. Salsa and chips were good. We had the queso dip with ours. Their tacos have a choice of about 10 different meats you can choose from. All are authentic Mexican prepared meat. Along with all the regular Mexican entrees, like enchiladas and burritos. They also had Mexican dinners. I chose the super burrito. That was stuffed with steak and chicken plus rice and beans. The burrito was a good size and I was barely able to eat it all. Out of the different Mexican restaurants in Fort gratiot, Port Huron and St Clair, I would say this is the best one. I would highly recommend that you try this place.
