This was the second time we’ve been here for lunch. The first time, I had the Frajita Quesadilla and husband had the Monteray Enchilada. Both were fantastic: hot from the grill and just delicious. Husband had the Churros for dessert, and if I’d had room, I would have ordered the Sopapillas.

Today, I had the Vegetarian Burrito. I am not a vegetarian, but the of variety of veggies appealed to me. My husband ordered the Bean and cheese Pupusas, because he wanted to try something he’d never had. Again, everything was hot and fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We brought a box of what we couldn’t finish home.

The young man who waited on us was friendly and checked back several times,
and was pleased we liked our meals.

[Yes, the saloon doors in the ladies room are short. This could be remedied by putting hi-rise toilets in the stalls. If it weren’t for the handicap bars in the stall, I’d be in trouble ]

Prices for lunch were reasonable. They have a handicap ramp to the front door.’

Why they don’t have more cars in the lot is beyond me.
We will definitely be back.

Food was good, just smaller portion for entree than what we are use to at our local Mexican Restaurant for same price.
Neither of us liked the flavor of the refried beans, but our fault for not asking if we could substitute for black beans.
The saloon style doors on bathroom stalls could stand to be longer.

The place is nice, and the people are friendly. My only issue is the food is hella bland. We were expecting authentic Mexican food and that usually includes peppers and onions in the rice, and some type of seasoning on the meat. Maybe make the salsa spicier? As it stands it tastes like onion.. And I get it, kilmarnock is generally a bunch of boomers. Boomers who’ll grab their chest and have a seizure over a granule of salt, but theyre gonna die off anyways. Your new and younger clientele want authentic flavor! So dont be scared to push away the bland “mouth breathers”.

Aside from that, everything was amazing! The food was edible, just felt like it was missing that “ZEST”.

The “salsa” was tomato sauce, the rice had zero flavor, my steak was thinner than my pablano and one of the cooks has an attitude problem.

The waiter was very nice but the food was bad. Go to the frozen food section at Walmart and you’ll have a better experience.

The staff is very nice. The chips and salsa were free which is appreciated. I enjoyed the seafood burrito and my spouse enjoyed the seafood enchilada both with fresh crab meat. Open on Monday. Super good server.

Went here for a late lunch wondering why the parking lot always seems to be empty. We are still wondering. The food was very good and the service excellent. Unlike most chimis, my chicken was super flavorful and even the presentation was good. Only an eensy weensy amount of sour cream so will ask for more (and some Guac) next time. Hubby’s fajitas were a larger portion than I’d expect for a lunch special. Atmosphere was cherry but prolly good to fix the hole in the men’s bathroom wall. Overall great visit and will be back.

They have the best margaritas. I’m used to California spicy Mexican food, so their cuisine is pretty timid by comparison but well adapted to local palates. They have a wide variety to choose from, and for locals, one of the few restaurants open on Monday.

Horrible experience. While we dining they began sweeping the floors. Soon after, while we were still eating they started washing the floors with some horribly strong chemical that was completely overwhelming and caused an asthma attack. I would not recommend this restaurant ever!

The food was excellent, we would definitely go back. They have lots of decorations hanging from the ceiling and on the walls, fun for kids to look at.
