I stopped here when I went out of town after a funeral to eat. This is my first time here and I have to say the food was amazing. The service was a little slow, but they were short handed. I assume it was the owner only taking, cooking, and serving the orders. This was the cheesiest chicken on the beach I’ve ever had. The chips and salsa were great too. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want something authentic and delicious! If I ever come back that way I will definitely come back to eat there!

This place is a hole in the wall, hole in a train car restaurant lol….. Great service, seated quick and drinks came quick, listened to the order so kids waters correct plus my water with lemon came correct…top shel margarita was great!!! Food came out hot, fresh and quickly… Chips and salsa were on point…molcajete was VERY GOOD!!!! corn and flour tortillas both were hot and fresh… Very happy this place came up on Google maps and we decided to try it out, parking lot is horrible but don’t worry, after you park and hit the entrance, it all gets better

Our server was very attentive and helpful in selecting dishes to try. Everything came out perfect and packed with flavor. I loved the street tacos and everyone was satisfied with their food.

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Only issue was the AC didn’t seem to be keeping up with the outside temperature. Little warm inside. Restaurant was clean and would recommend if you are in town.

Talk about a great experience. You can dine in the caboose, which is wonderful. We ordered the El Mocojeta stone rimmed pedestal with slices of steak, chicken, nopal, onions, and bell peppers, with rice, beans and tortillas. Enough for 2 or 3 in our case. This was absolutely amazing. The salsa is also a winner. We ordered the small guacamole, but it’s Pico de Gallo and cut up hunks of avocado. I’m not a fan. We would eat here again for sure

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they were out of several menu options as far as drinks are concerned. The food was delicious and fresh, the salsa was delicious (but lacked heat), and the staff was friendly. They were thorough and fun and made sure to accommodate our preferences on customizing our dishes. Very good experience and will go again if we find ourselves in town again. The caboose is a fun touch my son and I loved!

This was literally the only restaurant open in town. We were hesitant by the exterior.
Once we got in we noticed they had a huge menu! Staff was friendly and helpful.
Food was great, they made a special dish for me that was not on the menu.
Sit in the caboose! Fun!!

I can’t really say anything bad about this place the food is pretty good and the price is right sometimes when I order a taco salad though becomes way too watery. Maybe if it just strain the meat a little bit I would be extremely happy nobody likes meat soup well at least I don’t. But the service and the quality the food is excellent otherwise authentic meal you can’t ask for better. I had to come back on here the next day and add another star. I got the steak fajita 10 inch. I have never had such a good lunch in my life this was by far the very best thing I’ve ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant I don’t even know how to identify anything else as good as it it was delicious I can’t say delicious loud enough

The food was delicious and the price was good. I enjoyed watching the ladies sing Happy birthday to a lady in the booth across the way. although I did break a tooth on the chips, it was not their fault LOL.

Decent Mexican restaurant. Chips and salsa are average. Ordered chicken chimichanga, steak quesadilla, and chicken taco. Chimichanga and quesadilla were ok. Was disappointed the had a half slice of tomato rather than a serving of pico de gallo. Retried beans were below average.
