The food was great and the service was good. It has a nice dining room inside with some tables outdoors. It’s tucked away in the corner of the plaza with a covered entrance and outdoor seating area… nicely unique. Nice decor and music indoors. Margarita’s not so good… was small, served warm with little ice and flavor not real good. Sangria, not so good… tasted like red wine and it had some small diced apples inside… not sangria. Recommended for food, but not mixed drinks.

First time going there. Food was delicious. Came out fast and hot. I got a fajita taco salad that was huge. My bf got the birria tacos and said they were done perfectly. Service was great. Will definitely go back.
We decided to go back for my bfs bday dinner and of course for was great service was great. At the end of our meal they surprised my bf with a free dessert that was super good.

I’ve been many times over the past 5 years or so and have never been disappointed in the food. I’ve also never had to wait to be seated or wait too long for the food.
My go to is the seafood chimichanga with rice and I get a side of beans. My husband loves the tamales with beef and wishes there was an entree that really featured them (he gets them ala carte with a side of rice and beans). We’ve had many of the entrees over time; spinach cream burritos, chili poblanos, the combo platters. Never had a bad or inconsistent meal. Haven’t tried it yet but glad they added carnitas and birria choices which are newer to the menu.
The only detractor is the location. It’s in an alley so if you’re seated and facing the window, you have a view of an alley. Would love if they were able the at paint the alley wall or something.
Will certainly keep being a regular customer.

I am a bit behind in my reviews, so the lunch I enjoyed in Delmar at Los Panchos is from late 2022. This is a restaurant that had been on my radar for awhile, especially as I heard they had birria as an option. It was everything I hoped for!
The dining area was more than half filled during the weekday lunch hour and the waiter was attentive. I quickly had chips and salsa delivered to my table as well as the water I requested. Birria tacos were on my mind from the beginning, so I ordered quickly. The wait was probably about 15 minutes, during which I enjoyed the child and salsa (possibly a little too much, as I had a tough time finishing the rice and beans).
The rice was good, similar to the rice one gets with the entree at most Mexican restaurants, and the refried beans as well. That is neither here nor there, as the most important part of this meal was the tacos. And they were soooo good! Tender shredded beef perfectly seasoned and melt in your mouth delicious. The dipping au jus sauce was flavorful and a perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend both the restaurant and the birria tacos in particular. Can’t wait for a chance to go back.
Also took a slice of tres leches cake to go and enjoyed as an afternoon treat – delicious also!

Very nice little Mexican restaurant. The food was very good. Service was great from all the employees. The meal was served fast and hot. The dining area was clean and spacious for the size of the restaurant. Girlfriend and I both had supreme quesadilla very good. I also had tortilla soup, which was very good. Mojito was absolutely delicious. It’s definitely a place to check out if you enjoy Mexican food. There are many different options on the menu.

Drinks were good and service was great….. But the food was mehhh at best and that’s being nice. We ate there about a year ago and remember it being decent, came back and honestly thought they had new owners. We ordered “empanadas” and both my boyfriend and I just looked at each other when they brought them out and made a joke that they looked like Stoffers frozen food. They had no taste and don’t even look like they are made in house. The rest of the food was barely ok at best. Def won’t be going back again.
