New York strip, added shrimp – comes with rice, beans. Chimichurri.
I ordered yucca frita – a favorite and the dipping sauce they bring to the table with it?! Oh my God, I was dipping everything in it! I wish I knew the name but seriously, was so good.
Enjoyed their food so much, I brought home chuleta de cerdo (pork) plate – with a piece of their amazing Chorizo, a chicken empanada and beef empanada and platanos maduros! I broke open the piece of pork so that you could see inside, so tender and juicy very flavorful with a beautiful crispy crust on it.
It is my absolute favorite number one Colombian restaurant in the area, the owners and the staff are such good people.
It was packed to the gills yesterday! Really loved the table in front of me that was full of family celebrating a birthday.
It is always a treat to eat in! Cannot beat the prices for the portions and the quality. Always consistent.

I have eaten several times here, and we are never disappointed.
This is truly authentic Colombian food. We ordered one dish with chicken and another with steak, the lentil soup place with a beef emoanada, and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and the place was
clean. The music was a bit loud, but other than that, we enjoyed our
experience.
Overall, 100% recommended and I can’t wait to come back.

If you like meat, more meat,and then now meat,this is the place! Great Colombian atmosphere, amazing staff, and great prices to portion ratio. Nothing generic about the S. American food offerings. Just platters of fried,grilled,roasted meats and sauces. Come hungry, and Provechè. Its one of Charlotte’s little best kept corner spots near the Latino side of town in a plaza.

Love love LOVE this place. I order everything, I always try to get something different and have never been disappointed. Their rice is sweet and salty and comes with most dishes.
However, what I ALWAYS order are their empanadas. They are small, meant as an appetizer but when I was pregnant I craved these all the time and at like 5 at a time lol. Highly recommend!

Refused indoor service due to having a service dog with us!!
We visited this restaurant on 02/23/2026 with a group of friends. The food was okay.
However, I am leaving this review because we were REFUSED indoor SERVICE due to having a SERVICE DOG with us.
The hostess/waiter said that they “do not allow dogs,” including SERVICE DOGS, because “the police department told them they are not allowed since the restaurant is small.” She pointed to a “No Dogs Allowed” sign as justification. She said we could sit outside, so we did since our friends were really excited to try Colombian food. But it was freezing, and we had to eat outdoors because they wouldn’t let us sit inside.
Before leaving, I went back to the hostess/waiter to explain that it’s illegal to refuse indoor service to someone with a service dog. She said they are aware of that, but that the owner “doesn’t care” and that this situation happens all the time.
We were a party of more than five people. The dog didn’t have her service vest on at that moment. However, a vest isn’t required by law, but we had the vest along with proper documentation, with us. The dog is small, well-behaved and always ready to perform her tasks.
It is disappointing to experience this type of treatment, especially when service dog access rights are clearly protected by law. I hope the restaurant educates its staff and ownership about regulations to prevent this from happening to others.
This situation may be reported to the proper authorities for further review.

We were visiting NC and had lunch at the restaurant. The ambiance and the service is great, however, the food we ordered was not that great. They do provide a good amount of food for the prices. I ordered fish and it was very fishy and not fresh. The beans were more diluted and lacked seasoning and the potatoes were okay as well. The fried chicken was good. I would still recommend the restaurant for good dining experience.
