The food was amazing! Nothing more needs to be said. A must.

And the food was fresh, warm, flavorful, good even at 10pm.

I’ve known the family behind Los Nopales since I was a kid, so seeing them run their own restaurant means a lot to me. The food here is genuinely delicious and made with so much care and love.

I usually order the tacos or a quesadilla, but the pambazos are my absolute favorite, so flavorful and authentic. The menudo is really good too, especially when you’re craving something comforting. They’ve also recently started making bacon-wrapped hot dogs, which are really good!

This is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant that truly deserves more love and support. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and want to support a local Sacramento business, I highly recommend stopping by.

Love this place!!! We stopped by because we were close by and we were pleasantly surprised how delicious their food was. We ordered an al pastor burrito and gorditas. They were extremely flavorful and super filling. The portion sizes are huge! Great price for what you are getting! We also got the horchata mix drink and it was so sweet and delicious!

Was worried because the appearance of building seemed a bit ran down, and we are not from Sac. Food was amazing!!! Staff was great. She was super nice and made sure to tell us we could have chips & salsa from the bar to go with our order thru Uber. Burritos were huge, def a lunch & dinner!

Al pastor tacos were hella good! Chicken tacos were good too.
Salsa from the salsa bar gave the extra kick.

Staff were kind and patient.

Dining area was super clean.

A LOT of DoorDash traffic, they were definitely getting a lot of business.

I got there around 1pm, they were sold out of menudo, pozole, cabeza, and tamales. It must be good. Get there early.

Their prices have gone up, they don’t have some of their menu items. Place was empty on a Monday at 4pm. Thought I was in the wrong place because when you walk in it looks like an office. I ordered a quesadilla with carnitas. Comes with beans and rice. The quesadilla was a decent size but they put all the meat on one side then the cheese one side. It was pretty greasy too. The beans taste really watered down & the rice is a lil bit crunchy. Also ordered birria tacos. Came with 4 for $20. The barbacoa sauce didn’t have any Cilantro or onions in it. They hardly had any drink options. I was really surprised that they didn’t have the Mexican coca colas, those are the best.
