Good food and atmosphere, but the staff weren’t very friendly. The manager suspected us of leaving without paying. Of course, I paid it with plenty of tips. I showed him the receipt, and he confirmed it with the waiter who served our table. That made me feel a little embarrassed, but he didn’t properly apologize to us.

I’ve seen the restaurant for many years but finally decided to stop in tonight. I honestly had low expectations, because I was in a bad mood and had kids in tow. Instead I found myself seated, almost immediately, at a table removed from the clumps of other diners, which is exactly what I wanted, and had my order taken almost immediately. Some confusion came from trying to get a draft and I ended up with a bottle, but the rest of my order went on my servers notepad and to the kitchen and then to my table within five minutes. Cannot stress how much I needed that. Then, the food was delicious, which was a very lovely turn to my evening.

A pretty excellent dining experience. I was a touch disappointed that the Cabeza and rice in my burrito weren’t as flavorful as I expected – the rice my wife and daughter got as sides for their meals was surprisingly tasty – but otherwise everything else we had was delicious. I absolutely will be back again – the fajitas were excellent and smoky, and the blackberry margarita was a star! The green salsa was great, and the pico was fresh and flavorful. I can’t wait to try the molcajetes and other stuff on the menu – there’s a lot!

Came here because it was recommended by a friend local to Santa Rosa. Portions were huge, we definitely had leftovers! We ordered the Chile rellano burrito, torta, carnitas el jefe burrito and tamarindos. Wait staff was great!

Nice local place. Great food and a good value. Quite a bit of outdoor seating, but it’s quite noisy. 3 generous portions of salsa and chips come with each meal. The tortilla soup and vegetarian tostada were great. I will be back. There is a parking lot in back.
