This place is awesome! I took my wife here for Valentine’s Day today and the molcajete was absolutely phenomenal! I used to regularly go to La Unica in Smithfield but that’s changing after today! We ordered an individual mixed molacejete and shared it between the two of us and it was more than enough food. I was so surprised to see that there was only one or two other couples there eating. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for some delicious Mexican food. We WILL be coming back for not only lunch and dinner, but also breakfast as they have accommodations for that as well. Side note: their butterfly shrimp is immaculate!!!

Food was good but was missing that home cooked meal warmth to it. Not sure how to explain it, but my wife cooks with that warmth. It’s generic Mexican food, it’s get the job done and fill your belly.

Food was delicious! We got an individual molcajete to share with extra tortillas. Everything was super flavorful even the beans and rice. The homemade flan was super yummy too. 10 out 10 do recommend!

I love Mexican food, but sometimes it’s easy to feel like it’s all roughly the same wherever you go. This was the first time in a really long time that Mexican food has made me go “WOW!”. My wife and I got the molcajete to share. It was a fun presentation that just looked impressive coming out. The flavors were amazing. I was not prepared for how good that cactus was going to be! (I want more). The corn tortillas were soft and delicious. The extra sauces were delicious. Everything was top notch! Our waitress Antonela (I think) and Eddie were both very attentive and kept us topped off with chips, salsa, and drinks. Dining room was clean and comfortable. Five stars. Sad to see how empty it was on a Friday at lunch. Deserves more to be more popular! Highly recommended and we will definitely come back!

Los Molcajetes was amazing. The waiter Carlos was top notch. He was informative and enjoyed how helpful and attentive he was. The corn tortillas were made fresh giving that extra goodness one enjoyed when eating out. I highly recommend this place.

We went for dinner and shared an Individual sized mixed molcajete. That, combined with the free chips and salsa was more than enough to feed two of us. It was all really delicious and fresh. The server was really nice and the food came out extremely fast. I’ll be going back.

This was surprisingly tasty food! A molcejete is a large bowl crafted of lava rock, and my wife and I ordered an individual serving, which was enough for four people. It was also very good food. The shrimp were perfectly charred m, and the asada was excellent. The chicken was very good despite being slightly overcooked. There was a mass of sausage meat that we figured was chorizo, and it was also very tasty. We also enjoyed the beans and rice. The inclusion of nopalitas was great and I don’t think I’ve ever had better. We will certainly be coming back. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I had such a great time at Los Molcajetes Mexican Restaurant! The place had a warm and lively vibe, with colorful décor and fun music playing in the background. It felt really inviting and comfortable. The restaurant was also really clean, which was nice to see.

Came for a girls linner. We were instantly greeted and sat down towards the back for some privacy. We were starving and ordered their Mixed Molcajete “familiar”. They had different meal size options. “Individual”was enough to feed two people. “Famililiar” 3-4 people. “Supreme” 5-8. I don’t know what sauce they used but it was delicious!! Meal came with a side of Mexican rice, 6 corn or flour tortillas, and beans. In our mixed molcajete, we had chicken, beef, half an onion grilled, half grilled and sliced cactus, large jalapeño, green bell pepper slices, slice of chorizo, shrimp, and two slices of queso fresco. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail and shrimp tostada. First time there and it was a great first experience. Very good portions!
