What a view! This place offers one of the most beautiful settings to enjoy a meal, especially around sunset when the atmosphere becomes even more magical. The Mexican food is absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. They also have live music, which adds so much energy and makes the whole experience feel special without being overwhelming.

I highly recommend making reservations, especially for dinner, but you can often walk in if you come earlier in the evening. The molcajetes are perfection—rich, savory, and served bubbling hot with incredible flavor in every bite. Their sizzling plates, especially the fajitas, are just as impressive, arriving at the table steaming and aromatic. Everything feels fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared.

Between the stunning views, excellent food, and lively ambiance, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again. Perfect for a date night, celebrating with friends, or simply enjoying a memorable meal in a beautiful setting.

Food is mid. Not great especially for the price. The only reason to visit this restaurant is for the view it has.

Party of 9, we had a 20 minute wait with no reservation on a Friday evening. About a 40 minute wait for the food once we were seated, but we were informed it would be a wait.

While we were impressed with the view, the hype goes down with the food. The food was just okay. The agua de horchata was premade powder you can buy at any store.

There was an error on the staffs part forgetting to remove the spicy sauce from a dish. Instead of correcting the error the waitress got snippy and argued back stating no error was committed. And she later remembered it was mentioned, this was another 20 minute wait to get the correct food. Which was perfect the second time around. I genuinely hope this is not a common experience.

Overall, very pricey food and a legit tourist trap. The only reason to eat at this restaurant is for the view it provides. Which you get a very similar view for free just a few minutes down at the “mirador”.

The restaurant is going through an expansion to their patio but it didn’t interfere with our dinner ️ great views and good service. Vegetable fajitas were not on the menu but they accommodated us with a delicious mix served on a sizzling hot iron platter. We’ll attended with locals. Nice music on the Friday we visited. Parking is nearby at the Mirador. Recommend.

Four of us came here for lunch, and it was excellent. The views of San Miguel are absolutely amazing from the tarraza. Our server was very helpful and friendly and looked after us. The food was delicious and the portions huge. We shared a Mocajete and four of us couldn’t finish it. Beware if you order an starter if you don’t want to have leftovers! Our cocktails were really good too. I would highly recommend eating here.

Absolutely fantastic. Came in for lunch on a Saturday as soon as they opened and very nearly had the place to ourselves. Stunning views of the city, wonderfully friendly staff, and great food. The molcajete de camarones was a bit insane, but delicious. And make sure you try the local Allende beer!

Great service and food. The views from this spot are amazing and definitely worth the visit. The volcano bowls are a lot of food for the price and very tasty. Overall great experience with live music in the background.

Excellent food and drinks at great prices.

I would recommend going at sunset for the absolute best picture and photo opportunities in all of San Miguel de Allende.

There was live music whilst we were there and the violinist was exceptional.

Lovely view and menu…the Volcano Bowls are huge and enough for two with leftovers! We also shared a salad and flan for dessert – one each was plenty for two of us to share! The flan was heavier than I’m used to, but delicious, nonetheless. Will definitely return.
Parking lot a few blocks up was 30 pesos per hour
