Great experience at Los Metates. I ordered tripa tacos, nicely crispy, and carnitas tacos—both were delicious and full of flavor.
My husband ordered carnitas tacos as well, and even though I don’t remember the other one he chose, I know he loved them because he devoured them!
The service was good; the girl who helped us was friendly and attentive. The place is calm and comfortable, with tables available to sit and enjoy your food.
Definitely a spot we would come back to.

As some folks say… if i could’ve left no stars, i would’ve. I love tacos and eat them from A LOT of different Taquerias. These are simply put… AWFUL . A plate of slop. Tortillas dropped in a to go container and meat just thrown on top, Barely any onions and cilantro. And a container of some watered down salsa that tasted like dish soap!! REALLY DISAPPOINTED!! And a waste of $40. I will NEVER return. I’ll include 2 pics. One of how they advertise their tacos, and a pic of what i paid for…

Just flew in from AZ and decided to stop here based off of the Google reviews. I’m a gluten free vegetarian and I’m allergic to wheat so I am gluten free too. The cheese enchiladas were great, and the veggie taco was massive. My girlfriend got the shrimp taco and a ceviche tostada and loved hers. Portions are huge, food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I would say this restaurant is on par some of the best Mexican restaurants we love back in AZ. I would highly recommend, especially for any vegetarians or people who are gluten free.

It was my first time here, I ordered beef quesadilla and horchata. It’s was delicious the meat was very flavoring and the horchata just rice not very sweet. My granddaughter had a burrito and my honey a vegetarian burrito, before we need our plates were empty. I recommend this place.

I’m a Burrito person this one is by far one of the best burritos I’ve had! Juicy, big and tasty! Definitely a place I would come back to while in the area.. its definitely a hole in the wall but worth it.

Very delicious food. I had the fish ceviche, and it was one of the most delicious and freshest that I’ve ever tried at a restaurant. Another day, I had a steak burrito and added shrimp and everything was fresh and light. Both times I was very pleased with the quality and taste.

What a treat! And whoa to that green salsa! I loved it! Great quesadilla de pollo and the serving is enough for two. A special treat is their open air facilities that is big enough for an event! I’m thankful Google recommended this place! I was looking for food after we landed because we were starving and Los Metates is super close to the airport. I got a ceviche tostada and a shrimp taco and it was so much food I was really surprised at the portions! He got the cheese enchiladas and a vegetarian taco and again the sizes were huge and the food is all delicious!
It’s a small unassuming place but super clean and the service was warm and welcoming.
