We ordered the Al Pastor and the Carne Asada plate, and the portions were amazing. Each dish was hearty and flavorful, more than enough for sharing while still leaving some for later. It was a truly satisfying dining experience.

Burrito with Al Pastor to go. Super psyched to enjoy it but the first bite was already a let down. Its lacking in flavor. Nothing pops, even though it looked stacked. The cilantro was the most prominent flavor. The worst thing is the rice was undercooked. It was crunchy still. Why would you serve undercooked rice? Why?
For $14, I thought, hmmm what a steal. But I was the one who got robbed of pleasure. What a shame.

Good food, and excellent service, a no frills place, and you certainly won’t leave hungry. We ordered Caldo de Res, and the veggis Super Burrito – and let me tell you, the burrito was indeed Super!!! It came with chips and house salsa. The portions are very generous and we could’ve shared just one burrito and still have some left over.
The service was just excellent, very friendly and welcoming, adding more chips or salsa if you ran out… just like you’d feel at grandma’s place.
My wife is Mexican and she was very happy indeed with her soup, i.e. Caldo!! Bravo, Los Metates!! Thank you for a fantastic lunch!!

It was amazing!!! portion was really good, salsa and chips amazing!!! Staff was friendly…clean place, fast service and menu was very easy to read and understand. It’s a must try in Daly City! First time here. Ordered three tacos: asada (steak), carnitas, and lengua (tongue). Being Mexican, I specifically choose these three meats to rate how good a place is. This place did not disappoint. Super meaty and flavorful. I had to use a fork to eat the meat that fell out on each bite. Good cilantro:onion ratio which is really important. Why not 5 stars? Their spiciest sauce was not so spicy, I was expecting more. Will definitely be back though!

Found this taqueria a week ago, and let me tell you all, to me it’s the best taqueria in this area, including the ones I’ve been going to in the mission district. I got a pastor burrito and it was the best I had ever. Definitely going back, and highly recommend this taqueria if you want great food. Also the staff is amazing and very friendly.

Found this place through other’s reviews. I got the super carne asada burrito. Steak was cooked on the spot and not just sitting around like some other places where it can get dry and tough to chew. Overall blended well with other ingredients. Friendly customer service and standard pricing for the area. Only drawback is parking is very limited. Fortunately I was with someone and they dropped me off as they waited a few steps at the 76 gas station. Will be coming back when I’m in the area.

I’ve been here a few times, the place itself is nothing fancy. They have a salsa bar and menu is reasonably priced. People that work here are nice. They have simple and decent dining area.
This time around I ordered through doordash and the food was on point. Everything came the way it was ordered.
1. Super chicken burrito – flavorful and perfect balance of chicken, rice, and beans etc.
2. Super carnitas burrito – Did not disappoint. It was a nice meaty burrito. So much that I could only eat half. I’ll save the rest for later. It was such a messy goodness.
3. Chips and salsa for $4 on doordash not worth it. IMHO.
