Came on a thursday night with 4 other gfs. Quiet night with just 3 other table. Service was slow getting drinks.
Main course was good and delish. Meat were tender and sauce really completes the dish.
Very disappointed with dessert though. Ordered churros. Didnt taste fresh and doesnt seem fully cooked. You can taste the old oil.
Resturant Mesa was so much better. Always fresh and ddnt tasted like old oil. Big let down
I feel like service was different from when they opened doors. I had couple of family members that had such a great experience here and their food looked so good.. i dont think they delivered based on other peoples postings.
Ill give it another try but i may stick to Mesa as food is consistently great. Always same as when i first tried them for few yrs now.

My family and I had dinner at Los Mayas in August to celebrate my birthday. We went early on a weekday and the restaurant was fairly empty. I had my son in a stroller and the restaurant was accessible for the stroller. It looked like there were multiple rooms/areas where diners could sit to enjoy their food. We were seated by the large windows which welcomed plenty of natural light. We started with the house made Guacamole which was served in a stone skull bowl! It was easily some of the best Guacamole we have had and our 10 month old loved it too!! Since it was my birthday I ordered a Mango Martini which was so yummy it was hard not to gulp it down! My husband ordered the chicken tamales which were very tasty. I ordered the taco trio (2 shrimp and 1 fish) also very good, though I could have gone for a little more filling besides the protein like a slaw or mango salsa! My daughter ordered the loaded chicken burrito which came with bacon in it. She loved it!! The burrito had a cheese sauce on the side that was not very good, so it was a relief that it was available as an option to put on or not. Although I did not order a dessert, our very sweet and friendly server brought out a complimentary slice of Flan for me since I had mentioned we were there to celebrate my birthday! It was a lovely end to a delicious meal!! My family and I are very excited to return to Los Mayas and try more items off of their extensive menu, hopefully soon!!

Staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the cheese & chorizo dip and chips as an app which was very tasty. The nachos I ordered was only nachos, meat and cheese, no other veggies (tomatoes, onions, etc) which was strange. Normally you think that’s a standard practice. You wind up just eating cheesey meat. The fajitas came with rice, refried beans, and tortillas. The sizzling meat dish overcooked the meat and veggies and some were very black. The wait staff tried to say that was normal, when we know it’s not. A tad overpriced. Was okay. We found out on the way out that there was a buffet option that the wait staff didn’t tell us about.

I have heard great reviews about Los Mayas so I had to experience it for myself. All I can say is wow I did not know it was Colombian/mexican cuisine you definitely get your moneys worth. I have found my new go to for Latin food I will be back.
We had suhian as our server she was absolutely wonderful. As someone who visits Mexico and native to colombia you really feel at home here.

Great ambiance, food and staff. From the minute we entered to the time we left, everything was phenomenal. Great Mexican/Colombian vibe. Owner is very hospitable. Food OUTSTANDING. We had the spinach queso dip, fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Deliciousness. Open 7 days a week, available for events and much more. Definitely returning to try more.

Wow, the food tastes amazing. If you are looking for an authentic place for Mexican food. One that when you close your eyes, you feel like you are in Huatulco, you need to come here! I had my dish and it was just perfect and the portions were perfect. Could not resist having Chips and Pico de gallo.

When we first walked in we had very high hopes for this place as the atmosphere was very artistic and social; however, the food was subpar and the service was even worse. Additionally, the nachos & salsa and the Pico De Gallo (which were described as essentially the same thing on the menu) had no business having a $3 difference in price. So bizarre. We didn’t get either, it was just an observation lol. Luckily we enjoy each other’s company no matter where we are, but our anniversary dinner was definitely a let- down. Also, its VERY well heated

VIBES: Huge, beautiful space. Big windows and string lights. The waitress was very polite. One silly thing, the buzzwords at the top of the menu are actually the protein options for the dishes.
BIRRIA ENCHILADAS: Were not even warm enough to melt the cheddar cheese sprinkled on top. Also smaller than the side salad, not worth $22!!
QUESABIRRIA: Isn’t cooked in the popular street style— there’s no attempt to close the taco on the griddle. But the protein portion is HEFTY! Which might be why there is a double layer of corn tortilla. But the wrap being dry kind of throws off the balance.
Birria was also not particularly flavourful, and the consume was just oil, which adds nothing unless it’s really hot. That lemon wedge did most of the heavy lifting in flavour.
The guacamole was actually delicious and so fresh! But it came with literally FOUR CHIPS! They were yummy while they lasted. I used the excess dry tortilla from my tacos to finish the guac.
Sadly, I probably wouldn’t come back here unless they really up their birria game.

The portions were larger than expected, and the food was excellent. The only area for improvement is the coffee — it could definitely be better.
Overall, it’s a great spot for breakfast. The croissant order comes with three croissants, which was a pleasant surprise.
Prices are affordable
