Few guys from work and I met for lunch today after work. Most of us hadn’t been here. Pretty busy. I had the choripollo which had barely any chorizo. By the time the waiter brought my tortillas I was already done with my food as I got tired of waiting. Few guys got the torta birria and they enjoyed it. Lunch fajitas don’t come on a sizzling skillet. Looks like a deconstructed burrito without the tortilla. Better places in the area but for Piedmont it’s good.

To the left of my video you saw a whole avocado mixed in lime juice salt and fresh pica de gallo and boi was it delish!! …in front of me, you saw the grande burrito mixed with steak, rice, cheese, avacado,onion and bell pepper with cilantro and sum other sauces and cheese on top with fresh diced tomatoes on top and that thang was HUGE….my friend has the 2 fajitas and as you can see across from me, that his plate(s) had a QUANTITY of items that came with his entree….they did not mind sharing the love, I tell ya!!!…. their nacho and salsa was good and fresh too and I like how they provided “jars” of mild and hot salsa to pour on your own (left of video thats beside my bowl of avacado)…..I would go back to this particular Mexican restaurant

We are new to the area and have been to several Mexican restaurants. This one is the one! Looking at the plaza is very different than walking in the door. You walk into a colorful yet comfortable atmosphere. Everyone we passed on the way in greeted us. We sat down with chips and salsa already being delivered.
The menu is huge! So much variety and so many options. I got the shrimp quesadilla and I’m more than satisfied. My husband got the quesadilla birria, also huge with great flavor. Finished off with tres leches which is delicious!
Over all this place has worked for and earned a 5 star. Great job! See you soon!

I found this hidden gem by circumstance. I was directed to try a different restaurant in the same plaza. My wife and I were searching for a good Mexican restaurant so we decided to give this place a try. This was over 3 years ago. We still love coming here to this day. We get great service and I love the food. The most pleasant part of the experience are the staff. They always do their best to make every visit great. If you’re in the area and looking for a great place to eat, I definitely recommend Los Mayas in Piedmont, SC.

My Husband and I moved to Piedmont from Greer, and we used to go to the Greer Location frequently. Last night for New Year’s Eve we arrived to the restaurant right around 8pm and were told upon arrival that the restaurant would be closing early at 9:30pm. Not a problem- standard holiday stuff, and well within what I think is an acceptable arrival time for some last tables for the night. Upon being seated we ordered drinks no problem but then we weren’t given adequate time to look at the menu to place our order. Our server pressed us for our order probably 3 different times within the span of 5 minutes- citing that the kitchen would be closing in just a few minutes. At that time it was still well over an hour to closing time- and I understood that usually bars are open later than the kitchen is so we hurried along and hastily made a decision for food. The problem came when there were people seated behind us- while we were halfway through eating our meal and they were allowed to sit down and place their orders as well. Then when we were finished eating our entreés, our server took it upon himself to decide that we were finished with our outing and delivered our check unprompted before I even had a chance to order dessert or another cocktail which I had fully planned to. I have been a server. If I wanted to pay a markup for the food I could have made myself at home it had better come with a heaping side of customer service, maybe a warm welcome, or sense of community. If you don’t want to work the holiday, I would have rather that server just called out so at least we could blame the garbage service on them just being short staffed. The only reason this didn’t get a 1 is because the kitchen staff is talented and my food was delightful

My husband and I come here at least once a week, sometimes twice lol. We have always had excellent customer service and the food has always been amazing! The servers have come to know us and already anticipate what we are going to order when it comes to drinks, and sometimes even food. I’ve never had any issues here. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone!

Our first time visiting here on 1/5/25 and our food was pretty good. Love the atmosphere and the energy of the staff. My order was for the Pollo Hawaiano and we got the guacamole appetizer. Price was reasonable with generous portions and our waiter was very patient and kept checking on us.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite places to grab some Mexican food and margaritas. Food is fresh and fast. The last visit they had a BOGO deal on margarita pitchers. Insane. I’ll definitely be back again and again. They also have a salsa bar if that’s your thing.
