Me and the girlfriend went here tonight for our first time. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the server and seated quickly. The menu here is pretty big. There’s a lot of stuff to choose from! I ended up getting “jorocho” and my gf got “Camerones al ajillo” which we both thought were ok. The portions seemed a little on the smaller side but the food came out quick and hot.
The atmosphere is pretty cool. They have a big selection of alcohol drinks as well.
Our waiter was very nice and friendly and checked up on us often. I will most likely go back but I need to find out what day their seafood day/hours are. I was recommended by a friend to come for the sea food dishes, but we weren’t given that menu. Hopefully next time. Worth checking out if you’re a Mexican food fan!

They opened the door for us on arrival, checked in enough but not too much, perfect service.
I’ve been to this building each time they reopen, this is the best one yet and I hope it stays. It’s actually good food, we cleared our plates.
Drinks are great but somewhat pricey. Cash is preferable since there’s a small charge for card.

We had such a wonderful experience here while celebrating my birthday. We ordered the ribeye steak and shrimp, pollo feliz, and a cheese quesadilla, and finished with churros for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our food came out quickly, and the staff were so kind and friendly. The restaurant itself felt very clean and cozy. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

This review is for the Waite Park, MN location. Across the street from China Star.
This was my first time visiting Los Mariachis, and it won’t be my last. There was plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself was clean with well-kept seating. The host was friendly and welcoming, which set a good tone right away.
The menu has an impressive variety, offering everything from fresh seafood to traditional Mexican dishes. I ordered the Grande Burrito, and it was delicious—definitely come hungry if you plan to tackle it.
If I had to be picky, I’d suggest serving the meal on a heated plate so the food stays warm longer. Also, a quick fix for the dining room TVs would improve the atmosphere.
Overall, a great first experience with excellent food and service. I’ll be coming back to try more from their menu.

We came here a couple of weeks ago for lunch and had to come back for dinner last night. The food is delicious, flavorful and I love the fresh salsa. The service is always attentative and polite. I usually have to stop myself from eating everything because I love having leftovers so I can enjoy it a second time. Even my wife who doesn’t like mexican food as much as I do, has a favorite dish.

We loved our food and can’t wait to be back. The manager and servers were very attentive and kind. Oh and the drinks are fun too (as you can tell on the photo!). They definitely go above and beyond. Fingers crossed they open up the patio or rooftop for summer, that would be a blast!!

Absolutely incredible! My family and I just visited this amazing new Mexican restaurant in Sauk Rapids, and we were blown away. From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-notch. The staff was super welcoming, the service was great, and everything felt authentic—from the atmosphere to the food.
The chips, salsa, and queso were fresh and full of flavor. The tacos were delicious, the margaritas were perfectly balanced, and the fried ice cream was next-level. As a half-Latina, I’m always looking for a place that brings that real flavor and warmth—and this one totally delivered. So excited to come back and try even more. A true gem!

We had the burrito California with steak, the chicken street tacos and an order of churros, that surprisingly came with fried ice cream. The food was delicious, salsa tasted very fresh, and the churros were perfect. Fried ice cream was ok, the fried part was mushy a little too much. I would 100% go back and try many more dishes.
