Best local restaurant in Springfield in terms of food quality. When I lived in Springfield, this has been my favorite restaurant over other local restaurants. All foods come with great flavor, generous portions and their meats are tender. Much better than el toro or other franchise restaurant. You may not expect five star service here and need to ask their services before they come to you. Regardless, I will go back.

When I arrived it was slow and only a few people where present. The food arrived quickly but tasted awful and it was overcooked. The staff was awful, completely aloof. It took around 20mins to get my servers attention for the bill and another while to have a cashier ring me up. I would’ve been better off going to the Taco Bell next door.

What can I say? My mom and I have been going here since the restaurant was at its original location. Then, my grandparents starting going here. We celebrate at least 2-3 birthdays here every year. We have now all moved away and still find a way to come here. The food is great and the staff has become our family. My grandma passed away this summer and we came to celebrate her birthday this year. It was bittersweet, but felt right to come to her favorite place.
