No more driving to Edgebrook for my taco fix! Almost everything was phenomenal! Great fresh food! Seasoned well cooked perfectly. My only two hangups are the lemonade and caldo de res. Lemonade could use less water. And the caldo definitely needs more meat. Even if they tack a couple extra dollars on it, if it’s a price thing, it would be much appreciated. Service is impeccable all the waitresses are such sweethearts and stay ON TOP of service. If you make any changes they always get it right. They don’t stop once the food is out. If you’re looking for authentic food in the area. This is it!

Very disappointed this is the second time I opened my order with the lid melting into the broth this, this time I also burned my hand because the paper bag had fallen apart and made a huge mess dripping the hot broth. I called and they weren’t able to do anything.

The service, when I’ve gone in person is good but there is a girl there who does not write down the order and she has gotten our order wrong twice. It just seems avoidable.

A Delightful Dinner at López Taqueria
From the moment we stepped through the doors, the warm hospitality at López Taqueria set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We were promptly greeted with smiles and shown to our table, where fresh, crispy chips and a vibrant salsa awaited us – the perfect start to whet our appetites.
To begin, we indulged in an order of delectable nachos that proved to be a flavor explosion. The crisp chips were generously topped with savory ground beef, a creamy blend of white and queso cheeses, cool sour cream, fresh lettuce, zesty jalapeños, and a dollop of rich guacamole. Every bite delivered a medley of textures and robust Mexican flavors.
For our entrees, I opted for the beef tacos el carbón, and they did not disappoint. The tender, juicy meat was infused with incredible depth of flavor from the wood-fired grill. Accompanied by wonderfully seasoned charro beans, flawlessly cooked rice, and a bright pico de gallo, it made for a simply delicious meal. My dining companion’s shrimp brochette was also a hit – plump, perfectly grilled shrimp alongside refried beans and rice.
To complement our satisfying dinner, we sipped on a couple of large, refreshingly cold Mexican Cokes – the ideal accompaniment on a warm evening.
What truly elevated our already enjoyable experience was the warm, attentive service we received throughout our visit. Our server ensured our glasses were never empty and checked on us regularly.

If you want good authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. They put a good amount of meat on the tacos. So filling that I had to take them cause I couldn’t eat them all.Definitely my family’s new go-to spot!

Came here late while staying at GWL down the road. The place is very basic, nothing flashy or over the top. The girl working the front was very sweet and helpful. The star of the show though, the food. It was amazing. You will not be disappointed with anything.. it is authentic and tastes just like what your bisabuela used to make.

Got a caldo de res which had no meat and all fat and very oily broth, i couldn’t finish it the fajita meat on my sope was ok I would be willing to give it another try, service was fast and friendly.
