The chips were fresh. The salsa was spicy but thin. It also came with black bean dip, which was thin and delicious. The soft drinks come with come in a can with a cip of ice. There was no sweet tea, but they have several sugar options to sweeten it. We ordered queso for an appetizer, and it was pretty good. Portion sizes were fine.

It was my first time and the truth is that I was amazed because the cleanliness of the restaurant, the attention, the speed and the quality of the food is exceptional. Parking is available and it’s free, you don’t have to worry about paying for parking. They have a show for the guests that is very fun for the family to enjoy. The prices are acceptable to everyone. If you haven’t come, I recommend that you do it. It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak English, here they speak Spanish too.

The atmosphere and staff at Los Lazos are excellent. The food though, we all it’s just okay. Not great, but not bad. The meat in the fajita seemed like it may have been frozen and pre-cooked, so it didn’t seem particularly fresh. It was just okay. Prices were reasonable, but not cheap by any means. The service was great and the facility was clean. Not really enough parking but we went late afternoon before dinner so we had no problem finding a spot. Like I said, great atmosphere and service, clean store, but if it’s all about food, there Re other options

We came here for dinner for the first time and were still impressed. This place in my opinion has better things for breakfast but by far the best thing for dinner is the salsa. It is served warm and it is just the right amount of spice. They also have pretty good margaritas and aqua frescas.

We came here for breakfast. The lady greeted us but already started off by saying we could choose any seat but they had a crowd just sat so it would be about 20 mins before we could place our order. That is fine but they didn’t give us menus at least. There were just 2 servers and a chips lady, though she never brought us chips. Finally we were able to put our order in, the server was friendly. After that our food came out in decent time and was good. I had the super burrito which is supposed to have all the meats but it was more potato heavy than anything. It was good, just not the best. If you are in a rush, I recommend trying a different place, but it’s a good spot if you’re nit in a hurry. Coffee was good and the price is decent. Single.stall bathrooms are a nightmare!

Tried this place because I wanted something different. And it was different. Parking was very hard to find since it was small and already packed for a Friday night. I took this as a good sign. I walk in to very loud singing, a man with an array of wigs singing karaoke. This was ok, but a bit too loud for such a small venue. We were addressed in a timely manner. They provided chips and menus, and returned to take our order soon after.
While waiting we had to move because the ac vent started dripping on me and the huge speaker I was sitting next to was a bit much.
Across the restaurant the sound was still loud, but by then we had our food so with finger in one ear began to survey our meal. Results were that 2/3 of our meals were delightful. My daughter was disappointed by her enchiladas classico. She said the quality of the cheese was poor and the sauce had no flavor. Her rice was a bit crunchy and also lacked flavor, but that the beans were very good. I enjoyed my sopes, and the salsa and black bean dip provided with chips were very good. My sister enjoyed her al carbon tacos but also was disappointed with the rice. This was an ok place.

Looking for good food? This breakfast was dang good! This one is worth the price tag. And they have Coca Mexicana, to boot. We’ll be back.

Food was good but not as spicy as I like (which is why only 4 stars). I think the most exciting part about this place was the karaoke. That made my night! I would definitely come back for that. He had his own costumes to go with his random songs. Greatness!

This location has to be a local favorite. Prior to our arrival, I told my Mrs., this was the place. The outside is not spectacular but it’s the inside and food that makes this location worth while. The chips and salsa were on point with lots of flavor. The food was filling and homemade which only made it that much more special to me. The barrito I ordered was huge and probably enough for two to share. My son enjoyed his crispy tacos and my Mrs. absolutely loved her homemade flour tortilla chicken tacos. Our wait staff spoke both English and Spanish, which is a huge plus for those who understand some but not all. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting Galvaston, Texas and looking for a great homemade meal!
