The chips and salsa were great and my lunch wasn’t bad…but, not as advertised on the menu. I had Shrimp and Rice lunch special. There were only 7 shrimp, for $14. Which was ok, I guess…but no cheese sauce. When I get the bill, the lunch special was $14.50…once again, kot a big deal…just not as advertised.

Service was good. Went late afternoon not busy. Started with chips and picante. Then had mixes meat fajitas. It was a large portion with beans and rice. Definitely will go back.

I have to assume that this restaurant caters to a certain demographic, which would explain why it looks like Mexican food, but in no way, resembles the taste of Mexican food. If you have to put the word “authentic” in your name, there’s probably a reason for it, and I should’ve listened to my gut on this. I got the burrito supreme and somehow it tasted sweet. I would give this a pass if you have other options.

I had chicken floutas for a late lunch, and I thought that they were authentic and delicious. The salsa and chips were excellent. Some people will think the size of the Flautas small. For me, the portion with beans and rice was just right. They have many ala carte options and appetizers you may add on as well. Lunch ends @ 3pm.

Compared to other Mexican places I’ve been to, the flavor is mild on everything here. I think it has to do with being so close to the Villages and the older crowd. The servers are always friendly and the food is consistent. They have Margheritas, but it’s a bottled sweet and sour mix base.

Definitely cannot go back there again it was 81° in the restaurant it’s so hot and you’re sweating as you’re eating to the point that you start to get nauseous. You’re paying good money to eat at a restaurant comfortably. Not as a sauna

This is the best Mexican restaurant by far around, the food is phenomenal and the service is extraordinary. These people really know how to do Mexican and the atmosphere is incredible. I would recommend this place to anyone and I highly recommend you visit this place and judge for your self, I don’t believe you will be disappointed, just saying
