Dinner was going well but took a bad turn. Drinks arrived on time. Appetizer came after we received our entrees though. Special requests for the kids were handled, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, while eating the refried beans I bit down on a small rock. Assuming the beans were made fresh it could have been from the bag of dried beans (I hope). The waiter was sympathetic and comped my meal (although the checks were split incorrectly) which I appreciated but it kind of ruined dinner for me.

This place is very clean, and has a nice atmosphere. The waiter was very polite and would make us smile with his personality. The food was delicious. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Me and my boyfriend went for the first time tonight. Place was nice. Well lit and friendly staff. Food was good and decent priced. Will go back.

Instead of putting margaritas on the menu, it should read “glass of neon green margarita mix”. Cold ambiance, no Mexican music (no music at all, you just hear dishes and the mumble of people talking and coughing etc) and not at all Mexican decor or any kind of character. It’s weird. My advice is to make this place 100x more festive. Food is bland. Also why are you charging for mints? Usually they are free. If you can’t afford to give one away, just don’t put them out at all. You are just making yourselves look cheap! There’s no way that nickel and diming those mints are going to save your bottom line.

I give it a 2 ⭐️ the food was ok, Margarita was like what in the food coloring world is this yuck worst margarita ever, the street tacos are cold, if you are going to order Mexican water like horchata and Tamarindo be ready for the sugar load and the taste of package water, not the best I really do not recommend this place unless you are very hungry.

This establishment is wonderful. Troy is home to several Mexican restaurants. I have frequented all of them for years. Today was my first day trying this one. First off, the restaurant is beautiful inside. Everything is vibrant and the colors are awesome. The service is great. Smiling faces, and very attentive. The food quality at this restaurant is definitely right. The flavors are amazing, and the portions are great. If you are local and haven’t tried this one, please do!! And if you are a traveler passing through Troy, definitely give this place a try.

Server was nice but had a hard time understanding English. The food looked good but had little if any flavor, very bland. The sour cream had been watered down and actually poured out of the cup it came in. The ground beef,I hope, was very watery and no flavor. Same in the tacos, very bland Don’t think it was grease. The yellow rice had no flavor. Had to try but will go back to Rodeos and Morocco’s where it is a lot more flavor.
