One of the best chicken chimichangas I’ve ever had. I loved how it was a full chicken breast and not shredded. Reina the bartender was also lovely. Support your local family business! I’ll happily be back if I’m ever in the area again. Thanks!

Forgot what an amazing Phoenix classic this place is. Reina, the bartender was amazing and our server Pedro was pretty good too. The food and the atmosphere however are the biggest highlights of visiting this place. I feel like I just stepped into my childhood home in Phoenix that was built by native Americans and filled with all kinds of amazing southwestern artifacts. Get ready for some spicy deliciousness, or just get something mild and heartwarming. No matter what you do, you can’t lose at this place.

The place had nice decor. The salsas were spicy. I ordered a Beef Burrito with green sauce. The burrito was good, but the sauce, like the salsas just wasn’t the flavor I was looking for. The service was excellent, and the Beans were the best part of my meal. I expected alot more from this place. Dissappointed

I was trying to give Los Dos Molinos a pass as it has been a long time since I have eaten here. If course prices and quality have changed over the years and that is the case with this restaurant. First off the service was fabulous and attentive. My server was super kind and patient as I was trying to order food while at a meeting. So three stars for this!

The food though was just okay. From the reviews I knew the salsa was going to be hot. It was very hot, opened up all of my senses–especially the red, but also it had tons of flavor, which I enjoyed. You can tell it is homemade all of the red and green peppers popping through. Now to the food. I was hoping for a lunch special, but there was not one in sight. So, I went with their tacos salad that came with a choice of a variety of meats, most of which were also super spicy, so I went with the carnitas.

The presentation of the salad was awesome. It was open faced, so not that traditional round bowl that you see. What was in the bowl left a lot to be desired, as the carnitas was very dry and a little chunky–it was not fully shredded. The green salsa helped a little bit and so did the guacamole. All of the ingredients were fresh, but together there was just no seasoning and it just did not impress.

I really wanted to give them more stars, but the food was just okay. I would not look here the next time I am craving Mexican food. This was a one and done for me.

If you like your food spicy, this is the place to go. I sought it out because I was dying to have sopapillas again after bingeing on them on my first trip to New Mexico in 2023. I got them with honey, which was delicious, but not as good as honey butter, but in my half order of two, one was way too crunchy. They are supposed to be soft pillows of lusciousness. I probably won’t be trying them in AZ again. The street tacos were okay, not what I’m used to from the ones in NYC. These had cheddar cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce and chopped tomatoes—so American!! The adovado ribs were good, hot and spicy, but it came with a burnt tortilla. I love the decor, and the sports bar area looked really fun. I could definitely see making it my hangout if I lived here. Service was first rate.

A wonderful spot that gets busy, especially during the nights when a game is on. Food is good mexican, while the service can vary when it gets busy. However, overall, a great experience.

Came for happy hour with a friend! The margs were amazing and service was great. The food however left something to be desired unfortunately! The chicken taco was extremely bland and dry. And the rice and beans had little flavor. My friend liked the nachos! Their queso is SPICY (which I love!) but just a heads up! I probably would go here again just get something else.

Great Mexican Restaurant and Bar! Their happy hour is really nice! Great deals on food and liquor. I had a frozen strawberry margarita, and when I tasted their salsa, down went the margarita. Their salsa has quite a kick. Definitely on the hot side.I love spicy, and the salsa was even hot for me.

An institution in Phoenix. And deserved because the food is incredible! No need to look anywhere else for mexican food in the area.

The RED chili needs some improvement. I like JUEVOS Rancheros what they offered on brunch menu good but not the same as original NM JUEVOS Rancheros. Salsa was good but way to hot. Ambience good, reminded me of El Patio and La Posta rest. In OLD Mesilla close to Las Cruces, NM. Just need some New Mexico tweeting for 5 stars.
