While in Sierraville, just for one evening to try and catch a glimpse of a meteor shower, my dad, husband, and I came to Los Dos Hermanos for dinner. It was one of the few dining options in Sierraville and one of the only ones still open. Funny enough, we happen to come on the last night that they were open before closing for an extended holiday break.
It seems like the whole town was there for dinner, but we managed to get seated right away and our server was very kind and attentive. We appreciated the complementary chips and salsa and placed our order.
I decided to get their Carnitas with a side of corn tortillas while my dad ordered the chili Colorado with corn tortillas. My husband ordered one of the biggest burritos I have ever seen in my entire life. It was easily the size of his forearm.
The food came out fast and piping hot. We all felt that it was tasty but needed a little more seasoning and spice, a little bland. But if you find yourself in Sierraville and craving Mexican food, this should satisfy the urge.

My son and stopped in on our way home. Place was hopping busy and they got us in quick, took our drink and food order and within a short time, we were eating. Food was outstanding i had the shrimp burrito and my son had the chicken burrito. We both loved the food. We will be back! TAKE THE KIDS!!

We tried Los Dos Hermanos after a Texan recommended it.
The proportions are very large.
The salsa/chips were good.
The food and service were good. I like a bit more heat but the flavors were good.
After reading all the comments about the margaritas, I regret not trying them 😉

Service was very friendly and as prompt as it could be for a busy Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is relaxed and the beer is cold and the margaritas are great. But the food is average at best, definitely catered to the particular demographic of the region. Not bad, but a bit bland.

Stopped here on the way to the hot springs for a margarita. It was ok but came we back the next night for dinner. Tocas and chicken fajitas were amazing but the second test on the margaritas confirmed they were not that strong. If there was more tequila i would have given five stars
Would recommend the food if you’re passing through.

The best birria (lamb shank) I’ve ever had. The soup/sauce/consume that came with it had an amazing aroma of spices and the meat needed no knife to separate it from the bone; it was so tender and delicious. Every bite and sip of the sauce was packed with so much flavor. The service was also great, with the person that took our table’s order also being the person who helped us with our snow chains in the parking lot, earlier in the day. Great quality food with amazing taste, served by awesome people.

Pleasant service experience and the off huevos rancheros were delicious! Obviously there aren’t a ton of options in the Sierraville area, but this is good quality Mexican food regardless— you won’t be disappointed!
