This is a gem of a restaurant. I ordered 3 street tacos and a burrito on a Sunday around noon. Fast seating and service. The meat in the tacos was a little dry but what struck me about the food is that the flavors were well balanced. Very harmonious, delicious spicy green sauce and for me, perfect. I will definitely return.

Ate breakfast at Los Dos Charros Mexican Restaurant this morning. It was incredible. I got the chilaquiles with Barbacoa, and my bf got the churro French toast.

The vibes were immaculate, the service was fantastic and the food even better. So much flavor and the presentation was great too!

Probably my favorite place I’ve tried so far.

Edit: Dec 20th 2025 – came back here very excited after our last visit and was very disappointed. Quality of food has definitely changed. The rice was honestly inedible mush with no flavor. The beans needed salt and were very flat. The queso felt flat also.

Now I will say the chicken fajitas were probably the tastiest thing and thats why I didn’t give it a 1 and the salsa was also good.

Even the service seemed a little lacking. Was waiting for a while for the check and was long stretches of periods where I didnt see a single server.

Not sure if the chef or management changed but I’m sad about the quality as I was most excited about coming back here.

We are here on our first night in town. The chips and salsa were good. The food was excellent. I ordered a mole enchilada and thought it was fantastic and it is pictured here. We ate out on the patio and thought it was beautiful.

Loved seeing the local artwork, our waitress was tentative. Drinks were really good. I had the Birria tacos, although different from what I’m used to in Texas. They are delicious. The icing on the cake was definitelyuu the churros. Don’t skip dessert here. They were literally the best thing I ever had.

This place is ok. Nothing to write home about. The food was ok. The beans have no salt or flavor and the rice was very dry. The enchilada we’re pretty good but then again you can’t mess up an enchilada. The atmosphere was on point. There was a great Buzz in the dining room. Even though I wasn’t impressed with this place I would definitely come back. But I definitely will order something different.

We’re visiting Pagosa Springs and enjoying some authentic Mexican cuisine. We almost stopped at a place on the main drag but fate brought us a little farther off the beaten path and WOW!

We’re traveling with our two large dogs and we got a fabulous spot on the patio. Service was excellent!

Their margarita menu is large and very unique. Have trouble deciding? They offer a margarita flight and it’s not your standard 2 oz tasting size either.

I had the enchiladas Verde (amazing tomatillo sauce!) and well-seasoned chicken. I also LOVE the fact that most of their entrees have the option of one or two. I can rarely finish a giant meal at typical restaurants and I hate wasting food when we don’t have the option to save leftovers.

My husband raved about the mole sauce and the prickly pear margaritas.

It’s our last day of vacation and we couldn’t have had a better farewell experience

Food was delicious. First time we’ve been in there since they renovated, love the new decor. I had #6 – two ground beef tacos with beans and rice. The ground beef was so flavorful, the beans and rice were also delicious. I love the new plates.

We were leaving Pagosa and needed to stop for some breakfast. They had just opened when we arrived so there was no wait, and they were able to seat us all together- party of 8. Staff was friendly and attentive. All our orders were correct. Food was good. We tried the carne asada plate, the pancake special, omelet, and chorizo plate. They have a salsa bar on the side. Reasonably priced. Bathrooms were clean.

This is not your typical refried beans and Spanish rice Mexican Restaurant. They feature some different dishes that are delicious. The wait staff are very efficient and lovely.
