I had an incredible experience here. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. There were plenty of well decorated spaces for dining options. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The virgin margaritas weren’t that great but it was worth the try. Everyone was super nice. Even the other patrons. It felt like a family meal. The food portions are huge and you can get full off the chips and salsa alone. I took my leftovers to go and they provided utensils and packaging which was super helpful. The service alone would definitely make me come back here and most importantly the food was delicious.

Updated review 5 Aug 2023: my significant other and I stopped here for dinner a little after five this evening. We sat in the back corner of the cantina, and we had THE BEST server ever out of all the times we’ve been here. I should have gotten his name, but he was an older gentleman with a beard whom was also making the drinks at the bar while serving tables. We didn’t have to ask him for a single thing; he was on top of everything, from the moment he first stopped at our table until the moment we were walking away to leave. We are completely satisfied with our phenomenal server and the always amazing food (see my two new photos added from this visit)!

I was visiting ABQ for a work conference and decided to stop by for lunch. The salsa was delicious. I wish i could’ve ordered it by the bottle. Lol! I ordered the trio fajitas and it was really good. I will definitely visit again if I’m ever back in ABQ.

My favorite New Mexican restaurant in town. My family has been frequenting Los Cuates since the ’80s and it’s just as good as it’s always been. I constantly craved their slightly sweet salsa and chips when I lived in another state. You’ve got to try the Indian taco!!

The nachos were bomb, had them with Shredded beef, the salsa has been a staple in Abq for decades. It’s one of my favorites. Sadly the house margarita tasted kinda flat. Better get a coconut one next time those are great! Needs a cosmetic face-lift, it feels so dark, but the server and company were fantastic, so that makes up for everything

We went for our anniversary! Came in on a Saturday night at 7 PM and were sat immediately. Dinner for two including appetizer and drinks was only $66 before tip! What a steal!

This place has always been a good place for New Mexican food. I’ve been eating here for years. I had the taco plate (chicken). It was just ok, like they forgot to season the food. My plate was hot, just not off the stove hot. In their defense we had an 18 top and we got all our food at the same time. Customer service was amazing. Our waitress handled a large table like a pro. Our order was correct and no one else mentioned the food. I’d still recommend this place, maybe just my plate missed the salt wave.

I had the Indian taco And it may very well be one of the greatest plates I ever had. Very large portions, great to split. I am still full and satisfied. Service was exceptional, the place is clean and pretty. New Favorite???? Perhaps.
