Los Cotijas Taco Shop is a small, family owned Mexican Restaurant that has been proudly serving Tustin since 1997. We are best known for our Fish Tacos, and have been recognized as having the Best Fish Tacos in Orange County! Our food is homemade, authentic, Mexican cuisine as we believe our customers deserve the very best. Check out our Instagram page, @loscotijas, to see the various types of food we have to offer! I highly recommend this place!!!
After Taco Mesa raised their price on my lobster burrito significantly we found this place. Los Cotijas became my new favorite! This place is a taco shop kind of place and isn’t the fancy restaurant.
Their shrimp taco isn’t street taco size – it’s large! A one shrimp taco has 5 thumb size shrimps and very satisfying. Two shrimp tacos fill me up. It’s less than $15 compared to Taco Mesa’s lobster burrito now $35
I’m not a cheap food seeker but value seeker. Los Cotijas food definitely match value to price or exceed.

Wow!! Finest fish tacos I’ve ever eaten,, ,,no kidding, this is it, their menu is vast. I had 2 fish tacos and side of beans. Unbelievable in many ways, the tacos were “ weighty” as well as being deeeelicious. Beans were exceptional in taste and were somewhat runny, like I like them.

This is my favorite spot in all of orange county. Notice how the tacos are put together very nicely? Some other places literally throw lettuce and cheese at the tacos and you get a plate of mush. Can’t wait to go back here. I love Los Cotijas Taco Shop. Great service too.

Came here and enjoyed a great meal. Carne asada burrito with nachos, beans and rice (#15) and hubby had the 2 fish tacos with nachos, beans and rice (#11). The cashier was super nice and gave us free mini nachos because it was hubby’s birthday today. 🙂

Seriously the BEST taquitos and THE BEST FISH TACOS EVER !!! Honestly , the red salsa and guacamole are so good on the taquitos. Simple but super delicious. Their horchata is always on point and delicious. And their fish tacos are literally the BEST in OC . The best I’ve ever had honestly. Definitely recommend.

A taco Tuesday must (or any day) if around the way. Had a fish taco and shrimp burrito.
Neither disappointed especially the sauces used ahead of the salsa. Salsa packs on point and beans and rice made everything really nice in delivering authentic flavor.
Hit this spot up and you won’t walk out unhappy. Can’t wait to get back and dive into that menu.
