Had to ask for waiter to take our order. The food was not good Mexican food in which we are use to. Then we had to wait for our bill. Don’t understand the good reviews at all in regards to this restaurant. Didn’t appreciate one of the employees slipping us a business card for his side job as a landscaper as well.

Very dissatisfied in the veggie fajitas, they were mushy (like steamed only) and NOT sizzling at all, the cast iron plate was barely hot. BUT, since I took home more than half I was able to redeem them when I ate the leftovers at home. Great salsa though. Not too many options for vegan & gluten free in town so this was a disappointment. Probably won’t return.

The menu was substantial and the portions were perfectly large. Service was my favorite part of the experience, except for the wait to be seated, and to pay after the meal. I ordered a 3 item combo consisting of a shredded beef burrito and 2 tamales (red beef). The burrito was tasty and flavorful, the tamales however were 80% masa and were lacking flavor and moisture. The rice and beans that came with the meal were basic but good. All in all, for the area, this is a good spot. It would possibly score lower if there was anything quality nearby to compete. My friends ordered the Flautas and besides looking great they were easily the most raved about thing among the 5 people I brought. If you only want a burrito, Filibertos will fix that craving cheaper and easier- but for a sit down in the area that doesn’t skimp on portions, this is the spot.
