The most Authentic Mexican restaurant on the Peninsula. They have amazing soups, seafood and basically everything else. (This place does not serve the “white sauce”), as I stated…it’s authentic! Below is a takeout bowl of the Caldo de Pollo, and one of the best combos ever – Birria Grilled cheese and Pazole! Absolutely a must try.
Also a well know secret, is they are the only ones that are open in the early morning hours offering breakfast burritos and tacos.

Honestly the food was fantastic. They were pretty busy so it took awhile to get us our food and some of it was warm not hot which is okay. It’s very expensive too. I got the pollo flautas which was like $17. Super good and crispy. Will definitely come back and would choose Los Compadres over other Mexican restaurants

We had a great lunch at Los Compadres Taqueria & Marisqueria! The service was very friendly, and we appreciated the complimentary chips, salsa, and dip while we waited. We ordered the al pastor burrito and chicken nachos — The burrito was good but could have used a few more veggies, while the nachos were very tasty and generously portioned. Overall, a 5/5 experience, and we’d choose the nachos again!

First time here and will go again. Had the birria platter (sample of 5 different birria items in pic with this review) because I couldn’t decide what I wanted among the huge menu selection. It was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive and made the experience really relaxing.

Great food, no long wait for an online order. Will definitely be back. Absolutely recommend the fries! Only thing wrong was I put no cilantro on the order and still got it, but I picked it off and it was great.

They strive to be Mexican food similar to what you would find in California. It’s some of the best Mexican food I’ve had east of the mississippi. And they have Estrella on tap!

This is an 11/10 eating experience. The chips were good and warm when we got them, the birria grilled cheese was out of this world, and the price point was excellent. I’ll be coming again on a day that I can sample their house drinks without worrying about needing to go back to work!

This is my favorite place to eat near NASA Langley! Their chilaquiles is awesome! They have a good selection of Mexican beers on tap. Their habanero salsa is excellent. And the wait staff is very friendly and prompt, even when they’re busy.

Everything was DELICIOUS! We ordered the alambre huarache, shrimp Nayarit, aguachiles and pozole. Highly recommend the alambre huarache. The pozole is tasty and the meat super tender, everything was delicious, perfect flavor and quantity.

I was craving birrias and this place hit the spot. Food was sooo tasty, portions were huge and priced right! I usually don’t like corriander but it wasn’t overpowering. Loved the huge jars they use for drinks and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back before I return home! Gta try their drinks next time:)
