Chips were excellent, salsa was great. Food was good. Ordered trio for $26 giving us three small portions of steak, chicken, and shrimp. Didn’t care for the shrimp seasoning. They didn’t offer more chips and salsa but the food came out quickly. Then they forgot to refill our drinks. Decent place for location. Inside was clean

Food is good. Salsa quantity they give with chips they should be ashamed of though, the portion is so small. I could understand if it was a very hot salsa, but for this salsa that is not so spicy the amount should be at least tripled. Not sure why they are stingy with it. The food prices are on upper end, so I would think they could be a little more generous. It would be nice if they were a little more attentive with a refill of the salsa and soda as well. Those small things and I would have been inclined to leave a more generous tip.

We just came from West Texas in El Paso, so we were craving some Mexican food and this restaurant came up highly rated. The food was pretty good and hit the craving. The margarita came out extremely fast, and the food came out equally fast. I do wish the chips and salsa were endless though, that would have given this a 5 star review

My husband and I just ate here today for the first time. I liked their yummy mushroom pickled salsa that came with our tortilla chips. Yum! Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the chicken enchilada & a beef taco combo, and my husband ordered a chili relleno and chicken burrito combo. There were delicious! Margaritas were awesome and good sized too. My husband had it on the rocks and I had mine blended just like we requested. If we’re ever in Tenino again, we’ll be baaack. 🙂
For reference, we arrived at 4:50pm on a Thursday and were immediately seated. Dinner was served in less than 15 minutes from when the waiter took our order.

So many great things to say about this place! My wife and have driven past Los Compadres many times but today we decided to stop and try the place. We were amazed at how well the food tasted and how amazing the staff is! I always order a fajita burrito when I eat at Mexican restaurants but this is now my all time favorite!! We just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Not only was the food amazing but so was the staff. They took really good care of us, made great drinks, and even swept up the road after a crash happened outside the restaurant. Great people and great food. We will definitely be back. Support local business and visit Los Compadres.

Food was good. Atmosphere was good; AC was cold on a hot day. Server and host were not friendly repeatedly. We felt like we were an inconvenience to them actually although it was mid-day on a Sunday and there were only two other customers. The salsas with the chips are very small servings although the chips were warm and fresh. The main issue was the unfriendliness. Probably stay in business because they are the only option on small Tenino.
