The servings are large, food came out in good timing. The mole sauce was very good. The meat had an old smell to it and had no flavor. The server jodan was attentive and quick. A place to eat every so often as it really didn’t stand out as a good spot for a great breakfast

Delicious food, great service and environment is tops! Only thing is I suggest you bring warm clothes. The AC was so cold that even I was feeling cold, and I’m a person who likes it cold. I have the AC at home at 70° or 68°. Could be, because we were sitting right under the air vent. Other than feeling like we were in a refrigerator, everything else was great! I’ll be back, but with a jacket or sweater! I have been to their other locations, so I know their food is good!

While visiting from Seattle, I had the chance to eat at Los Compadres, and it completely hit the spot for authentic Mexican food. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, which were flavorful and came in a very generous portion – so much so that no one in my party was able to finish their dish. The real standout, though, was the house-made corn tortillas. They were soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious, easily the highlight of the meal.
The drinks were just as good — both the horchata and the jamaica were refreshing and perfectly made. Service was quick and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. Coming from Seattle where good Mexican food can be hard to find, this meal truly satisfied my craving. I’d definitely recommend Los Compadres to anyone looking for authentic flavors and hearty portions.

The family and I traveled to Los Compadres in search of a sit-down Mexican restaurant where everyone could find something they enjoyed, and it turned out to be a great option for just that. The restaurant is obviously a neighborhood favorite and has a vibrant, festive atmosphere. It’s busy and loud in a good way. Despite how crowded it was, service went smoothly and never seemed hurried, and it immediately felt welcoming.
We had a somewhat family-style meal. The carne asada con enchilada that I ordered was hot, tasty, and incredibly satisfying. The enchilada gave the plate a finishing touch of comfort food, and the steak was cooked to perfection. At the table, we also shared fresh guacamole with chips and salsa, which quickly vanished. The portion of the wet burrito that someone else ordered was enormous; it’s undoubtedly one of those dishes that you’re glad to take home leftovers. Additionally popular were the drinks, particularly the micheladas, which went well with the meal. Omg! I can not believe this place! The Enchiladas de la casa de Res (Flat Meat Ranchera) were super delicious . This is the 2nd best Enchiladas Meal I ever had. The 1st best Enchiladas I ever had are made by my amazing mother. So this is right on Top in 2 place . The filete relleno is great, too!
This place is worth every penny to come and eat. The tamarita and mango margarita cocktails were excellent in taste . This place is just tasteful. Your decision to come here will be worth it. The wait was 30-45 minutes.

I order the fish and shrimp taco but I should have ordered all 3 shrimp tacos cooked shell!!!!!! The cooked shrimp taco was so good that I only took one bite because I wanted to save it for the next day, weird huh. Well I knew I was only going to be eating once the next day so I was saving the BEST for last. It was my first time here and I will be stopping in again and again and again for those shrimp tacos!!! The drinks were good and for the price again I will be stopping by. It’s in Norwalk so I have to keep that in mind. I like going to dine where it’s a vibe and diversity, there no diversity in these areas. Other than that the food was good.

I came here for my friend’s going away party and I thoroughly enjoyed the place in all its glory. I enjoyed that the service and management was very attentive due to the high volume of people during the rush hour. The food was delicious and worth the money as the serving size was huge. I recommend reserving a seat in advance as the place is popular in the local area even during breakfast hours. In conclusion this place is good for hosting large dinner parties.
