When visiting my family this is one of our go-to. It’s nothing fancy but theor food is delicious. I always get the Compadres Plate as it gives you a taste of a few of their options, like barbacoa and menu do. The service is pretty great as well. The only thing we don’t really like is that they allow individuals to come in and try to sell whatever they are selling. I mean, I have bought a few things but sometimes you just want to enjoy your breakfast without being interrupted like that. I will say that the sellers are not pushy at all and are very respectful if you just say “no, thank you” and they even wish you a great day and blessings. Definitely worth a try!!

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Not real busy. Initially had a mariachi playing but I came in with less than a song to go. They sounded good though.
I got the tacos de bistek. The bring chips and salsa to start. My lunch has got corn tacos with rice and beans.
The food came quick, the server was attentive but not overly attentive.
The tacos were 8,99. And the coke was $1.99
For the money, this is a good deal.

The food was average something you can find at any restaurant in the valley. The service was good. The main portions were tiny. The chicharrón plate had maybe a serving spoon sized serving of chicharrón and the rest was egg and beans and potatoes. Won’t be returning because of that. The tortillas were good.

Went for Breakfast on 7/25/25. Food was ok , tortillas corn were good but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was not good…..the place was practically empty with 3 other people besides me. I waited for coffee refill that never did come. Paid $9.18 for a very skimpy breakfast of eggs, potatoes, beans and cold corn tortillas.
Probably reason restaurant not very busy. This place was super busy under previous Management…..too bad time to go elsewhere.

my abuela & i have been going here for years. its walking distance from her house, but we kept going back because Valeria’s really cool, and the food is delicious. no complaints, everyones always been very prompt, respectful, and polite. if you wanna feel like you’re eating at someones house, it looks, smells and tastes like a home cooked meal, try it out.
