This is the first time we had been since the new owners have been running this restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was top shelf. The food serving was very large so watch if you order appetizers. I had the chef’s special great choice if you want a fine meal.

I’m from Colorado, where Mexican food is always fantastic. My brother in law recommended this place. A nice gentleman seated us right away. I absolutely love the tables. Beautiful woodwork. Our waitress was very polite, prompt, and checked in with us frequently. The sweat tea was perfect, and so was the food. The chef’s special was so yummy I couldn’t eat it all. The cheese sauce was delicious. Very authentic Mexican food. This was an awesome experience that I plan to repeat every chance I get. Mad props to the staff!

When I walked in the lady was kind told me to sit anywhere, but then it took 5 min for anyone to come help me. And while I waited a group came in and they were sitting behind the counter talking and on there phone, didn’t say hi to them or anything. It’s almost like if you don’t live there they don’t care to really help, (or really just expect you to know to sit yourself) but thats not how it should be. The food was pretty decent but the service all in all wasn’t great.

Good is always good, the owner Vicente is very welcoming treats you like family. He always has a smile on his face his wife is a sweetheart. They are both amazingly kind and respectful. Never a bad meal. Sometimes service is a little lacking but not often. You will never regret spending your money there

Big Herb rolled up in here with the family. Immediately noticed a family of flies swarming our table. It’s the practice of Big Herb to order a steak upon the first visit to any restaurant. You can tell a lot about the kitchen by doing this. I ordered the steak & shrimp. I was asked how I want my steak prepared. I said medium. That was pointless though. When they brought my order to the table, it was on a sizzling skillet so hot it was smoking. At some point the steak was medium but it passed that stage in the kitchen. Those poor shrimp were scorched little leather bites. I began cutting my steak and it tore apart like old shoe leather. The steak was thin and very unappetizing. Almost a grey color. The onions and pepper were the best part of my plate. The server was friendly but the rest of the crew didn’t even smile. The fella at the register was more interested in playing on his phone. The rest of the family wasn’t impressed either. It was unanimous that we wouldn’t be back. I would be interested in seeing what a health inspection would reveal. Big Herb won’t be back in this place. I knocked a star for flies, one for the employees and one for food prep.
