My family and I stopped here on our way to Florida from Virginia for lunch and we were very pleased with our dining experience. The food was prepared fresh and was tasty and our server got our orders correct and was attentive. The restaurant was empty we ordered tacos, fajitas and carnitas. My favorite item were the Al pastor tacos. They had a great flavor and came with onions and cilantro. The star of the show were definitely the homemade corn tortillas. They were light, soft and a perfect size. My whole family enjoyed them. This will definitely be our go to for lunch in future road trips

The Carne Asada Tacos were perfect!
Carne asada tacos are simple to make but when you cut corners its very noticeable, and this place obviously did not cut any corners. The meat was great quality and tender, the veggies and tortillas were fresh and delicious. As a bonus for me, the tortillas were NOT drenched in oil like at other places.
Lastly, the horchata is made in house and not from a powder.

So this is probably the definition of a hole in the wall type of restaurant but omg is it good!! I enjoyed the atmosphere which is super quiet with a faint sound of Hispanic tunes and although the seats look a little beat up it just feels cozy. They don’t serve alcohol except for beer. The food is probably some of the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant even upscale ones, so there’s no doubt that they know what they’re doing. Will definitely go back when I feel like having a quiet lunch or dinner without the city traffic.

The food was good definitely coming back. I got the skillet with salmon chicken shrimp and steak can’t recall the name of it, it’s awesome. The dish is about 20 but worth it as you can see in the pick I definitely had leftovers. The salmon was cooked to perfection.

They say don’t judge a book by its cover and that’s the case here. Don’t judge this place on its appearance. Go inside, take a seat, and have a taste of this well-seasoned Mexican cuisine. I love their spicy salsa. Everything from the rice, to the beans is seasoned well.

The restaurant is located on the Main Street with some parking out front but a lot more just before the building on the right. The inside is ok, but ha s a lot of booths. Overall the food is ok, not great. I ordered the carne asada and the steak was maybe 3mm thick. It came with two “steaks” plus a side of rice, refried beans and a small salad. The food lacked a lot of flavor. The cost was very reasonable though so that was a plus.

First time here, service was good. Food was excellent but the water is bad so I asked for a coke instead. Price was high. $15.50

Cozy spot. Food was very good and definitely better than what I was expecting. I had the #22 and my husband had #40. We ordered the Xango Cheese Cake for desert. Delicious!

We’ve ordered many times here, and never have we had any problems, this is the first time the service was terrible. On top of that we ordered 3 plates of food and they gave us a small bag with a couple chips (I understand chips are free) but you cannot expect 3 people to eat a small portion. I worked in a restaurant as well, and I know when a person gives a good service and when they give the customer a attitude.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, very prompt service, and the skillet I requested had a variety of chicken, steak , shrimp and salmon. Veggies were grilled perfectly. Great prices & the bar with all the different verde & hot sauce selection was a great plus. Definitely a small town delight Worth trying
