Great tacos. Fantastic fresh fixings bar, even included a fresh pineapple and melon salsa (plus all the regular stuff, radishes, fresh pico, pickled carrots, peppers, a bunch of fresh salsas, etc. I hope next time I arrive hungry enough for one of the bowls of soup, saw someone else eating one and it looked fantastic.

The food is great but the service is lacking, came here for four tacos to go and watched numerous people that came after me get served first with larger to go orders. First come first serve that’s how it should be. Black Moldy tiles on the ceiling and dusty vents that haven’t been cleaned in years. This place needs a tune up and some better management.

So technically this is 2 reviews in one. I’m here on oak street working for the week from Tampa, I got 3 tacos al pastor from Los compadres and a medium mangonada from merlos fruiteria. Both ladies working were very welcoming. The tacos were amazing taste wise and reasonably priced, the mangonada was definitely delicious and huge. I ordered a medium thinking it would be similar to other places and omg this is an extra large. It was 9 dollars for the mangonada which makes sense but was a little surprising but overall amazing experience and very quick and friendly service❤️
