This place is absolute perfection! If you are looking for authentic, amazing giant burritos, this is the spot. The nachos are piled high and delicious, and they have so much more on the menu. Don’t even get me started on the margaritas—easily the best in town! On top of that, the staff is outstanding—super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The burrito was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the staff was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Came in a little before noon on a Monday. Got to choose our seats, chips and salsa were brought right out with waters.
Decided not to mess around, ordered the Tres Molcajete Especial and a large side of guacamole, to split between 2 of us. We were very well fed. Everything was excellent and the staff was super attentive and friendly.

Loved finding this place! We first ordered the lime frozen margarita and we are glad we only did one. they are 32 oz and they even put in an extra vial of tequila into the drink if you wanted it stronger. It was one of the best margarita’s we have had! My wife and I ordered the chicken fajita quesadilla and 2 al pastor tacos with a side of quac. It was more than enough for the two of us and it was truly authentic. The tacos were as good or better than what I get at home at some of the local taco trucks. We loved their mild house salsa and overall were very happy with our meal. Also, the meal was priced very reasonablly for what we received. We are going to eat here again on our next drive through for sure!

Los Comales “in my opinion” is the best and most authentic Mexican restaurant in Columbia. Giant portions perfectly seasoned food. They sell cooked meat of your choice, by the pound, which is awesome when you have guest over, play celebration or a party. The store they have is pretty large all kinds of different things from Beer to candy. Very friendly service ! A must have in Columbia.

Outstanding street tacos! Several kinds to choose from chorizo, al pastor, carnitas, carne asada. Chorizo queso was delicious! This place is tucked behind another restaurant just off I-70 in Columbia MO. Definitely recommend the street tacos! It was Taco Tuesday and there was a good special of a 5 taco plate. The place was busy and full of regular customers. The staff was friendly, courteous, and made small talk. Margaritas had been ordered at several tables and you can sit at a small bar area if you want. There is a kid’s menu and certainly kids are welcome. There is a Hispanic market with the restaurant. This is not a real fancy place but the food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. Casual dress.

I love this place! The food is outstanding and the service is fun. I do not speak Spanish at all and the waitresses and I have so much fun as they try to teach me. Just interacting with them is worth it. I always have a great time between the food and the service.

This has become our Taco Tuesday go to. Inside this little Mexican grocery store is an amazing little restaurant too! Or is it the other way around, the grocery store is inside the restaurant.
The salsa is amazing. The green one is hot, hot, hot! And this is the best queso in town.
They have very generous portions of meat in all their dishes.
The atmosphere is very low key. However the service has always been very friendly and the food fantastic!

I was just minding my own business driving back to KC and got lost from the caravan. So map quest sent me here… Let me tell you it was a tasty experience! I highly recommend you give Los Comales a try. Check out the butcher shop. The house made chorizo sausage was excellent!
