Guatemalan and Mexican food at its best. It started with the salsa and chips. The salsa was so amazingly tasteful and the chips were a great complement to the salsa. My husband had a chicharron and queso papusa, which could have been a meal by itself. He also had the beefsteak dinner, which was delicious. I had a vegetable tostada and a bean tostada. Both were fabulous. I also ordered the beef enchilada with beans. The beef was just marvelously tasty.
If you have any room left after you’ve finished your meal or if you’re just in the mood, there’s an ice cream store next door that is connected to this restaurant.
There are other Guatemalan foods that I want to try. It’s a restaurant that we will return to often.

At 730 am there isn’t a better option in the area. They have full menu at breakfast. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious, I really like the shuco chapines and the dobladas de queso. The garnaches are also great. Get a bottle of Guatemalan hot sauce on your way out, you’ll be glad you did. Great food, great value, great service, def my favorite place in town after work at 730a.
Went back again and it was still amazing.

Really yummy place. Great service. They have a lot of different snacks from different parts of the world. I had the al pastor tacos and they were really good. Also had the fries which come with a very interesting green sauce. It was good though! Highly recommend them & they have an ice cream spot next door. Pretty awesome.

Highly recommended! Food is delicious, portions are generous and prices won’t brake the bank at all. If you want to taste some of the best Guatemalan dishes in the area come to Los Chapines Tortilleria, you won’t be disappointed. Comida deliciosa!!

Although half store and half restaurant, there’s plenty of space to sit down and eat. The portion was excellent, and the price was even better. The staff are very kind, patient, and great with recommendations for your first time. I had the combo with Garnachas, Dobladas, and Popusas, which I highly recommend.

A great Guatemalan food place… I live for food and trying new restaurants. This place is good, the staff are friendly and very helpful if you don’t understand what’s on the menu. I had the typical steak tacos…because if you can’t make a good steak taco, I wouldn’t even come back to try something else off the menu.
The tacos were well seasoned and delicious. I also had an horchata that tasted like it was made this morning.

Please don’t come to this place, food is terrible. Service is terrible. The menu says something but they give you something else, they sell shicos but there are Mexican tortas, nothing to do with that, I explain it to them and they were very rude saying that in this place, the shucos us are tortas,
