Social Profile:

Los Chanchitos is a popular Seward food truck serving authentic street tacos with a fresh Alaska twist. Our specialties include fresh halibut tacos, rockfish tacos, and rich birria tacos, along with slow-roasted carnitas and our increasingly popular carne asada. Located downtown by the water with beautiful views of Resurrection Bay, we’re a favorite stop for cruise ship visitors and travelers exploring Seward. Serving from the same corner for 5 years and featured in a New York Times travel write-up, Los Chanchitos has become known for some of the best tacos and fish tacos in Seward. Enjoy fresh food, harbor views, and live music on weekends.

Server was very polite n attentive. Paid attention to vegetarian and other food restrictions. Food was all good and prices fair.

Fantastic! We loved everything we got! Wish we could’ve tried their rockfish as well because I’m sure it would’ve also been great, but it was out while we were in town. The tacos seemed pricey but were huge and filling.

Outdoor seating only. Great if you’re not from Arizona and this Seward Summer weather is similar to your winter! I froze my butt off lol. Great portions, good food. Beans and rice were fire. Carnitas were good, a little heavy on the black pepper. Overall, only the top
5 places to eat on my list in Seward AK!

Expensive. Store bought chips and canned queso. The carnitas were great and the beans and rice had decent flavor.

17$ for a bowl, 4$ extra for a tiny cup of guac and sour, the store bought canned queso 4$ and they gave me a giant container that is going to waste.

The only good thing from this is that my work will be reimbursing. Never again.

This little food truck kicks out some delicious food. If you’re looking for Mexican food when you’re in Seward, definitely make this little stop. The food was hot and very tasty. It was lunchtime and they were pretty busy but kicked out our food pretty fast. I highly recommend the quesobarilla plate, it’s their special!

Easily some of the best food in seward! Reasonably price and you will not leave hungry. I’ve tried pretty much all the menue items and love it all, my favorite is the breakfast steak quesadilla!! Cheers!

I enjoyed a steak burrito in the flamingo outdoor area. This was your basic burrito, it was hot and fresh. I added the salsa serrano. The salsa was unusual, it was neither dippable nor pourable. I used a fork to spread it on the burrito. It added some flavor. Overall, this was a decent meal at a reasonable (for Seward) price, eaten in the sunshine while staring down Mt. Marathon. I’ll eat here again.

We ate the veggie quesadilla on our trip. They were sold out for the day but they still accommodated us. And oh man, that was THE BEST QUESADILLA we have ever had. A must visit if you are visiting Seward 🙂

The bowl was delicious. It was flavorful and appropriately spiced. Would you believe that they make fresh salsa every day with real ingredients and serve at the right temp not freezing cold.
