After a long, busy week, our crew decided it was time for a well-earned business lunch. When the votes were counted, Los Cabos won out — a solid, neutral choice where everyone could find something they’d enjoy (because let’s be honest, a few of us can be a little picky). I was happy to agree, especially since I hadn’t visited this location in quite some time.
We headed to the Los Cabos near Bass Pro Shop in Broken Arrow, and I have to say — it was a delightful return. The restaurant is just as stunning as I remember from when they first opened. There’s something about the atmosphere that feels like more than just lunch; it feels like an experience. Sitting right next to the water adds a calm, almost resort-like touch that makes you forget you’re just minutes away from the daily grind.
The service was excellent — attentive without hovering — and everyone genuinely enjoyed their meals. It was exactly what we needed: good food, good company, and a setting that allows you to slow down for a moment before diving back into the week.

I chose Los Cabos in Tulsa for a small getaway, mainly because of the reviews and photos — it looked so beautiful and Instagram-worthy. When I arrived, the building looked exactly like the pictures: charming, festive, and decorated wonderfully for the holidays. The exterior has a hacienda-style design that looks gorgeous, and I’m pretty sure there’s a lake or small lagoon next to it. I visited at night during the cold season, but I can imagine how beautiful the view must be in the summer with the windows open and the outdoor balcony-style area.

Inside, the décor continues with a Mexican hacienda vibe, and with the Christmas decorations it feels like a warm hotel-lobby atmosphere. There’s a wishing fountain, a bar, and a spacious entrance area. Everything is beautifully arranged and well thought out. The staff was incredibly kind and very well trained — the service was excellent from the start. We were seated near one of the large windows overlooking the water, and even at night, the view was lovely. Overall, the place itself is truly stunning.

Now, about the food — as someone born and raised in Mexico, I didn’t find it to be authentic Mexican cuisine. It leans more toward Tex-Mex. I can’t say it wasn’t good, because it was tasty, but it didn’t give me that familiar, traditional feeling. It’s simply a different style.

With that said, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to Americans or anyone who enjoys Tex-Mex dishes in a beautiful setting. But for Mexicans looking for traditional flavors from home, this might not be the best match.

Tonight january 28th 2026 i visited this location for my birthday. We had a great time. The young waiter took great care of us and the food was delicious. I have no complaints at all. On this restaurant we got in quick and got great service. So I made sure to leave a good tip my wife even ran off and left her earmuffs. We called the restaurant and they had them put up, can’t ask for any more. That’s good service

Food and drinks were great, loved our waiter, very friendly and entertaining. We had 5 people, it was over christmas. Only disappointment was while having a half hour wait we went outside and were taking a group pic by the igloo and waitress literally kicked us out, would not let us snap the picture for one minute. What happened to christmas spirit?

6 of us went to lunch on a Friday at 12 noon. Plenty of seating available. Service was quick. Four of us ordered the fried avocado . The taste is so good. It’s warm and cheesy. I ordered chicken on mine, and another ordered shrimp. I couldn’t decide which I liked better.

This is simply the best Tex-Mex around. In fact, almost anywhere. I’ve tried a LOT all over the place. Weak spot: their flour tortillas taste store bought, not fresh like Chuy’s or Uncle Julio’s. And they up-charge when you just ask for a couple to go with soup or something.

The roasted salsa is the best going, served hot and perfect chips.

Queso is great…different enough from Chuy’s you can’t compare. Better than Uncle Julio’s and much better than Abuelo’s or Ted’s.

Everything else on the menu is great. I’m an enchilada guy and can’t get enough (as my cholesterol will attest).

Los Cabos is a winner when you wanna go for something great sitting alone or in a large group.

Los Cabos Mexican Grill is beautifully located along the lake & in the vicinity of the Holiday Inn where our reunion group was staying. The decor is stunningly beautiful & and the layout of dining areas inside the restaurant afford privacy and a romantic atmosphere. There was a two hour wait. For available group tables and to be served. Unfortunately, a waiter spilled salsa sauce on one of my relative’s clothing and on the table. No apologies. Slow to clean up. Started but did not finish. Left cloth on table Otherwise, the wait staff performed efficiently handling & serving our group of 52. My sizzling steak fajita was excellent. Certainly recommend Los Cabos to my relatives living in Broken Arrow & surrounding areas or anyone visiting this area.

Everything was great. We did arrive a little early before the dinner crowd started coming in. Had a nice table on the inside patio overlooking the pond. Food arrived quickly and hot with plenty of chips and assortment of sauces. Would recommend for anyone. Also had large tables for families or groups.

Had an amazing time and our server (Hannah) made our experience extremely fun! Sat on the patio and enjoyed live music for 2 days and dogs are allowed on the patio as well.
The food was amazing and so were the drinks. Can’t wait to go there again!
