So, the flavors at this restaurant reminds me of a restaurant that used to be in Florida called Texas Tacos. Specifically, the steak burrito, which was delicious. I got double meat and my only complaint is that there were waaaay too many pieces that were chewy and that I did not eat. This is the only reason I deducted a star. The tamale was so good, a little spicy. The steak quesadilla was the size of a taco, but still very flavorful. I really liked the white cheese on it. Nothing was over salted. All of the items I had, had it’s own flavor. Bonus, they are open late near Downers Grove. Oh and the salsa… You guys should bottle that. You’re welcome.

Purchased 3 al pastor tacos, 1 chicken taco and a large horchata. The meat had no season at all and the horchata was watered down like no other. This location was pretty good way back in the day but not anymore. I will not be going back here because I just wasted $

Get this togo all the time. Consistently good. The beans and rice are always flavorful. The steak is usually mostly meat and not fat. Their Al Pastor burrito is a favorite of mine. GET THE GREEN SALSA.

Lately the Lombard store has been shorting me big time on the hot sauce. I spend at LEAST $15 DAILY at this place and ALWAYS leave at least $2 in the tip jar for takeout. 2 sauce containers total for 4 or 5 tacos is ridiculous and there is only 1 nice lady there who makes sure I get as many as I want but she doesn’t work there everyday. I have been going here for years and all I want is a decent taco without more lettuce than meat and enough sauce for all my tacos. Added everything up and I spend AT LEAST $350 in food monthly at this place whether it’s Uber Eats or takeout.Thats as much as a car payment. Now I will never go here again. Just lost a customer, I will go somewhere else and spend my hard earned money. They raised the prices and I get less and less every time. Really makes me disappointed that I have to actually write this long review.

Good place for quick and tasty tacos. Dine in for chips and salsa, they have 3 diff sauces one of them an avocado salsa. Quick and friendly service. Steak and pork cooked nicely with with crispy edges. A bit much lettuce.

LOVE this place! I have been to multiple Los Burritos Tapatios and they NEVER disappoint. I always get the chicken or steak burrito. I don’t know why, but I really like the chicken burrito. I’ve been having them for years now. Always great service, incredible food! A MUST for great food and good price!

I had the most amazing late breakfast down the street from the convention hotel at Los Burritos Tapitios. Prices are reasonable, portions are big, service is fast and friendly. They set the table with free chips and salsa. The salsa is thick and chunky and very hot. Nice way to wake me up! Then they set three different bottles of housemade hot sauces on the table, along with shakers of both red pepper flakes and Mexican oregano. This place is legit! The Huevos con Chorizo ($8.99) was huge and incredibly tasty. It came with tortillas, rice & beans, and a side plate heaped with fresh cilantro, diced red onion, and lime slices. I’ve always wanted to try Menudo so I ordered a bowl ($9.49) as I figured this was the kind of place to have great menudo. It was HUGE and the broth was heaven. Full disclosure, I try to not be picky but the big chunks of tripe were too much of a texture nightmare for me. Loved all the flavors, and now I’ve tried it, but probably never again. And of course I had to get a bottle of Mexican Coke ($2.09) to wash it all down. This was a very fun experience with wonderful food.

This restaurant is one of the best-kept secrets of the area. The establishment itself is small and tucked at the end of a strip mall, which can make it a little difficult to find. Be advised that the seating is limited, so if you are coming during lunch rush or have a large group you can expect to have difficulty finding a table. The staff will do everything they can to accommodate you.
The dishes served here are really very good, the portions provided and prices they charge are more than fair. After taking your order it is not a long wait until your entree is served – and while you wait, there is an unlimited amount of chips and salsa that will be brought to you!
Both times that I have had lunch with my team at Los Burritos Tapatios my food has been incredibly fresh, hot and delicious. I recommend checking them out!

The prices are fair and the food is good. I have opt to do takeout every time. The staff are nice and are fast. The indoor dining isn’t the nicest and pretty dated.
