I’ve found my new favorite Mexican spot in Hollywood: Los Burritos. I stopped in for dinner yesterday and had one of the best asada burritos I’ve ever tasted. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. On top of the fantastic food, the service is consistently warm and welcoming. I also really appreciate the free chips and salsa and those little round ice cubes for the sodas—it’s the small details that make a difference. Despite being so close to the busy street, the restaurant has a wonderfully relaxing, home-like feel. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic meal.

California Burrito Rating (23)

I’m on a quest to find the best California Burrito.
This is stop number 23. Today’s spot: Los Burritos.

The Burrito: They brought me a big, flattened, hot burrito. What stood out was the tasty sour cream sauce, avocado, and warm tortilla. The meat was a bit tough, and there were some pieces I just couldn’t chew. It ended up being one of those burritos I actually finished in one sitting — so it wasn’t as huge as it looked at first. The $14 price is pretty reasonable for a California burrito.6 out of 10

Service: The woman who helped me was incredibly attentive, helped me choose, was polite, friendly, and clearly a pro. 10 out of 10

Atmosphere: Old photos, paintings, and drawings give the place a real Mexican vibe. It was cool and clean inside — clearly well taken care of. 8 out of 10

I’m giving this five stars to show some love to an LA original that needs some more attention IMO. Service is fantastic. I mean, you order one burrito for lunch, and you’re served like a king. Chips and salsa. Tall water without asking. So nice. Atmosphere is classic. I feel like I’m in Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. Very clean too. Ok, are they BEST burritos and tacos in LA? Maybe not. But cmon, a four-star burrito in LA is super freaking good. Go! You’re missing out if you’re sleeping on it!

Los Burritos in the heart of Hollywood is my favorite Taco Tuesday spot. The menu has a lot of options, but I keep going back for the cheese enchilada plate, which includes chips.Yummy

So I was on a mission to find the perfect halloween costume and was shopping at a store across the street and asked where I could find a bathroom and they said Los burritos across the street. So I went dressed up looking like I just came from the office and asked to use the restroom. The lady said no I had to eat inside it’s the rules. I asked if I could just go really quick, she said no I could go next door for $5. So I said fine I’ll eat here. She said sorry no. So I said again I will dine in get me the taco. So she looked at her manager and they took my order of a $5 small shrimp taco. Lucky for me I was starving and was planning to eat after shopping, I just didn’t plan on getting Mexican food. So the owner gives me the shrimp taco and I saw that they were giving chips and salsa to other “dine in” customers so I asked where were mine and they gave them to me (I felt like they weren’t going to if I didn’t ask). The food was actually really good. It’s definitely overpriced and I understand there’s a lot of homeless in area and they can’t let them use the restroom, but when a shopper/customer asks to use the restroom, they shouldn’t be forced to sit in a restaurant and eat. I won’t be coming back here, I can get the same quality tacos for cheaper and better service elsewhere.

What a great surprise to stop into. We were coming to get a refreshing jugo/smoothie, but when we came into the establishment the food said to sit down and order in. What a wonderful decision this was. Momma and I ordered and split the wet carne asada burrito. It was HUGE and full of delicious meat and beans. The side of guacamole was also fresh and tasted really good on a hot day. The burrito was more than filling for Momma and I as we walked the Walk of Fame that is DIRECTLY outside of this restaurant and almost in the middle of the star walk. The restaurant is huge and has plenty of seating inside an air conditioner. The restrooms were clean and stocked with supplies. The chips and salsa were also fresh and really delicious. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE CHIPS AND SALSA and these passed the test for sure.
The service was phenomenal! From when my Momma and I walked in the building we were sat immediately and served chips and salsa and ice cold water. Refreshing and delicious. The food came hot and quickly and was served with a very friendly smile and great energy. Momma and I sat, ate and listened some great music as we spent our time together. Now……they have a selection of smoothies and jugos….. I will warn you now. It’s going to be really hard to pick one, because they are all delicious. Personally I got the pink cloud and SUPER YUMMIE! Please stop in and say hi, grab a great bite to eat as you stroll the stars and then grab a smoothie on your way out to walk and stay cool.

Best mexican food in all of the USA i wish they had locations everywhere. Chipotle doesn’t stand a chance against this place. The carne asada and salsa is the most flavor food I’ve ever had. Carne asada burritos and quesadillas are the best here the rice and beans are always fresh and the tortillas are as well. Personally the carne asada quesadilla plate with salsa and either a Pepsi or coke is my go to for this place. You won’t get better quality anywhere else in Los Angeles and that’s facts!

Edible. But that’s about all I’ll say.
Bacon and egg burrito had rice and beans on it… In fact, it was mostly rice and beans as the picture shows. Just really odd.

Restaurant itself is pretty dirty. Service is mediocre.

If we weren’t starving we would have found a different place to eat.
