Los Andes in Stony Point didn’t just feed me, they welcomed me like family. The moment I walked in, the husband and wife who run the place greeted me with this easy kindness that instantly made the space feel like home. The restaurant is spotless, bright, and so clearly cared for. You can feel the pride in every corner.
Now the food… listen. The beef empanadas with veggies were everything. The Madura empanadas with cheese? A little pocket of joy. Every bite was packed with flavor, like someone in the kitchen actually cares whether or not you’re happy.
But the real moment for me was the encebollado. My first time trying it, and it was genuinely like being wrapped in a warm hug. It hit my soul in a way I wasn’t prepared for. You can taste the love in that bowl. It’s comfort, it’s tradition, it’s healing… all simmered together.
This was my first visit, but absolutely not my last. I’ll be back again and again.

Stopped in to check out the new place in town! They are officially open. All menus are posted on instagram. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Looking forward to returning soon to give it a try.
