Went here for brunch on a Saturday and had a great experience! The food was great, and the service from Cataleya was fantastic! We had the Queso Fundido with Chorizo and handmade tortillas, I highly recommend that! The fresh squeezed orange juice is done tableside and is a can’t miss. I had the Sope with Asiento de Puerco and it is DELICIOUS! Do not leave there without trying that! Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back. The Horchata is great as well!

As soon as we arrived no one was there to greet us so my husband & I used the restrooms. The women’s restroom did not have a lock on the door. Weird! We went back to the counter where we were quickly seated. My honest review is that the food lacked any flavor & everything we ordered was quite bland. The sauces were not good (except the salsa verde). The drinks were overpriced & not great. Our waitress Cataleya was nice & attentive. I really wanted to like this place but I won’t be returning.

Had high hopes for this restaurant but unfortunately it’s overhyped. The Carne en su jugo lacked seasoning and the mole was overwhelming sweet. Their alcohol list is overpriced. The atmosphere was chill and pretty good playlist. Maybe for a drink after work type of place but certainly not the food.

My husband and I went to Amores de Julia for a date night. Honestly, customer service hands down is a 20/10. Our waitress Mariana was super kind, knowledgeable on the menu and gave us our space. Jose, the manager also stopped by multiple times to check on us. Never did we feel rushed or pressured to leave. We were there for 3 hours. As an app we had the queso fundido…. So delish. For dinner my husband had the Mar y Tierra and I the tacos de asada. The meat could have used a little more salt according to my husband, but for me it was perfect. For drinks we had the mango margarita, cantarito, beer & piñata. All were great! This is our new favorite spot & they make homemade tortillas on site.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and truly authentic. You can tell great care goes into the preparation.

The customer service was extraordinary. What really stood out was the restaurant manager, Jose, personally walking around to check on guests and ensure everything was going well. He even offered to replace any dish if we weren’t completely satisfied, which definitely wasn’t necessary because everything was delicious but that level of attentiveness speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence.

The authentic Mexican décor displayed behind the glass shelves, combined with the Mexicana dishes and warm atmosphere, gave the space a sophisticated Tulum vibe. It feels classy yet welcoming, perfect for families or a special night out.

Highly recommend. We will absolutely be back.

Went here on a date night. My wife saw that it was new and wanted to try it. I knew it as Culichi Town, a Mexican version of Sushi. That didn’t last and now it’s this. When you first walk in, it’s really nice. Right to the left there was a spinning comal cooking up tortillas and sopes. It was kind of cool…just something a little extra for aesthetics or an appeal to authenticity for Gringo’s. I can’t confirm or deny if the maza was made in house or not. Overall, they did a good job with decor and atmosphere. Although, the music was pretty loud and they played a bunch of Latin Pop or something. Not really a fan of that, but to each their own. If you go here, just be aware of that. I don’t know if that’s what they always play, but it was horrible music if you ask me, and loud. On the menu, I noticed they have Mariachi bands at certain days and hours, and I was just thankful that there was none. I’m Latino, and I can’t stand that music. I don’t know why. Also, be aware of that if you go here. Anyhow, on to the food. Most of the items on the menu are overpriced, but I guess they like to think you’re paying for the atmosphere. My wife ordered the 3 Shrimp Taco’s ($18.00) and I ordered the 4 Quesabirria Tacos ($18.00) with some Consume ($4.00 Upcharge) We also ordered a flight of Margaritas ($32.00). The shrimp taco’s were good, the quesabirria was definitely lack luster. They were tiny, they had no crunch and very little flavor. Maybe, that’s authentic, but I’ve had way better ones at a gas station taqueria near Fruitridge & Power Inn. The flight of Margaritas was, in my opinion, over priced and from what I can tell, hardly any Tequila. Although, the presentation was nice. One thing that was disconcerting about good business practices was the tax rate. Sales Tax in this area is 7.75%, my bill was taxed at 8.76% I don’t know if that means anything to everybody, but it seems wrong to me. All in all, I wouldn’t ever go to this place again, but my wife would. She would go there with a girl group just to take pictures and post them on social media. That would be solely based on visual aesthetics and not much more. You will have to decide.

Wonderful experience having lunch today. Super attentive staff, beautiful decor, and good food. Our server Marli had such a good spirit and went the extra mile to answer our questions. This restaurant is definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful place but a little overpriced on their food. Not worth the price. Flavor wasn’t there on the carnitas I ordered. The beans were no bueno. Regret going. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect
