We were visiting from Minnesota for the holidays. We ordered tacos, Carne Asada plate, tamales and chicken. quesadilla. The refried beans was the best we ever had. We are originally from San Diego. The food was SO delicious. Came out fast and hot. 3 different salsas and homemade tortilla chips was so good! I had enough for left overs the next day. Bonus- they have beer! Don’t let the outside deter you. Service was wonderful. Recommend 100%

Imagine having to pay $20 for a soup that only had one piece of meat and just a whole lot of liquid and potatoes. IF THE SOUP HAS MEAT PUT THE MEAT IN? Mind this they forgot about my order and when I had it picked up they took an additional 45 minutes to make my order while being ignored at the counter. Second time giving a shot to this place never again!!! Go somewhere to get your moneys worth.

Every Mexican restaurant has its own unique flavor and Los Amigos was quite good. The service was excellent and the surroundings were cozy and clean. The bathroom was especially nice! The prices were not too bad but the portion left me wanting. The $6 kids mini quesadilla was unnecessarily tiny knowing that the portion could have been twice the size and would not have cost them more than 10 more cents. All in all a solid place to have a tasty Mexican meal in comfort just not enough food for the price to keep me from trying elsewhere when in the area.

We stumbled across this gem while my husband was on a work trip. What I call a hole in the wall off the beaten path kinda place. The food was amazing! Lola, our server was the best! We felt like we were family! Lola said the recipes are passed down from family and the food taste is always consistent! I say it tasted so authentic with homemade flour tortillas! I got the steak fajitas and the seasoning was best I ever had! Hubby got Steak quesadillas and they were also very good! Will definitely go back there again!

First timers on Thursday and a regular by Saturday! We found a true authentic Mexican restaurant in our local area. My brother and his wife were here visiting, and we were looking for a good restaurant to take them to, and what we experienced was a GREAT RESTAURANT!!

We were looking for a good Mexican restaurant on our way home after a day of drinking in St. Petersburg and stumbled upon Los Amigos on Google Maps. It was a little out of our way, but we decided to give it a shot.
At first, we were a bit skeptical when we pulled up, but once we walked in, we were seated right away, and the first staff member we spoke to got us water. Then came Lala—an absolute gem! She was hilarious, personable, and honestly made the entire experience so much fun. She gave us great recommendations, shared some advice, and her playful, sarcastic humor was perfect.
The food was exceptional, and every salsa we tried was delicious. We’ll definitely be back again!

I ask my customer to pick a restaurant for a meeting and when I came here I was skeptical because of the area and the look of the restaurant from outside but was I wrong by judging by appearances, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants i have tried. Food was great but the service excellence from Laura amazing. She was so friendly, welcoming and professional. She was interacting with almost every table, greeting and playing with every kid making them having a great time. I recommend the Bistec Ramchero.

The atmosphere was small but you felt like you were sitting in your friends dining room, when we arrived it was busy but we sat down and was immediately greeted. We came in for Father’s Day and our server was so sweet and personable! She made awesome recommendations and you could tell she wasn’t just trying to make you to order something so she could move on to the next table. She has knowledge of what she was talking about and what I got I was very excited about and devoured every single bite. I would recommend this place for locals here in Ruskin. Food and service was amazing. Would return for sure!
