Sticking with 4 Stars. It used to be my favorite place. I judge by the salsa lol. But this time something is different. I couldn’t taste the cilantro but did taste oregano. It’s almost as if oregano was used maybe by mistake? Idk but I couldn’t eat it. The spinach dip was magnificent! I highly recommend. Our server was really nice but I feel like we were rushed. We no sooner received or appetizers and just mins our food came. Maybe it’s just me but I enjoy that appetizer time before the meal lol. I’ll try one more time in the future but if the salsa is still the same I can’t do it lol. The strong hint of oregano & sweetness to it was not the salsa we had over last summer.

Wow! Service here is great. Don’t plan to finish your basket of chips and be done because they’ll bring your next one without asking! The inside is remodeled nicely since the last time we were in this building with a prior business. I’m already happy with our other local Mexican options, so I wasn’t expecting to have to add this spot into our rotation but the menu offers more variety and we’ll be back!

As someone from South Texas who grew up around Tejanos, this food will make you feel like youre home. My wife got the enchiladas and I got the Shrimp Chimichanga. Great amount of food for the price and I can’t think of a place that does shrimp bettter.

My wife and I just had food delivered from the O’Fallon Los Amigos, as we’ve done several times before. In the past, we’ve been very pleased, the food was well-prepared, nicely presented, and consistently delicious.
Unfortunately, this time was a disappointment.
I ordered two chicken tacos with chorizo, which I’ve enjoyed before. Previously, they were flavorful and well put together. This time, however, the shells arrived broken, and the chorizo was served separately in a small container, as if the meal had been hastily assembled. The overall quality felt mediocre at best.
My wife tried something different, but her dish arrived cold, even though the delivery driver came directly to us. On top of that, the flavor and quality of her meal were also underwhelming.
We hope this was just an off day, as Los Amigos has been great in the past. But this latest experience missed the mark. Definitely not worth the price.

Overall= it’s good, but a couple of times, my steak con Hongos were all fat and barely any meat, I called and asked them to pick one with more meat, instead I got one with all fat again-_-,but I would recommend.

Take out orders are regularly poor quality. I mean, the Pollo Tropico I got today was a disgrace to food. All food, not just Mexican food. From runny beans to tasteless chicken that tastes like it was frozen and tossed in a microwave. A refund does not suffice to demonstrate the level of irritation such a display caused me in my moment of hunger, willing to shell out the bucks for quality. That is not what I received.

The food was delicious, drinks were hitting and service was fantastic. We were brought fresh chips and salsa immediately and we didn’t have to ask the server for extra anything or to clear anything they were on point. The food was flavorful and filling & i will definitely be back!!

The service was great! The food however … i’ve had better. I had the birria tacos when they came out I thought they were a little small but the flavor wasn’t there. Nothing was seasoned, my gf had the nachos and the veggies were cut too big! Her steak wasn’t seasoned either. Whatever they fry their fried food in is nasty, and left a weird aftertaste. But our server was kind and kept those drinks coming and got us whatever we needed! We will probably come back for the drinks though <3

First time trying this place out, the food was good! I’m sure everything will get better as the get more staff, the place was clean, neat, and bright. The dishes were brought out in a timely fashion and tasted great. Try it for yourself!
