Stopped in on our way out of Cottonwood, AL, and this place did not disappoint. My husband and I ordered the steak nachos as an appetizer, and whew — that steak was flavorful, and the queso? Some of the best I’ve ever tasted.
For our entrees, we both went with the Country Boy Plate. My husband had tried something similar at a different restaurant before, but this version blew that one out the water. Everything was delicious — so much so, we couldn’t even finish it because we were already full from the nachos! Took the rest to go… and yes, we even ordered an extra queso to take with us.
We spent around $50 and felt it was worth every penny. The service was outstanding — the staff were super attentive, checking in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Refills, napkins, to-go bags — they were on it.
Some of the best food and service we’ve had in a while. We’ll definitely be back.

Service has always been prompt and friendly.
Atmosphere is well decorated and clean.
When I order for take out, it’s always ready and piping hot when I arrive to pick up.

They have a huge menu so you can definitely find something that you like. The service was excellent. I had 3 people constantly checking on me. The food was delicious and the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend.

went with my toddler recently. ordered fajitas thinking it would feed both of us. i was able to make 2 tacos (each with about 3-4 small pc of chicken) and my son ate 4 small strips of chicken. after that the meat was gone. tons of pep and onion left. tried the beans and rice and they were flavorless. queso was runny and tasted like milk. was looking forward to leftovers to bring home, instead i had to come home and feed my son and myself a 2nd dinner.

While driving 231 I usually stop for Mexican in Dothan, today I decided to take a short detour and come to cottonwood to try this place, and i am so glad I did!! steak burrito was not only delicious but huge also…rice , beans, and chips also very good! great food…great service and great value! so glad I skipped Dothan because this is my new place, if you try it you will be glad you did!

The steak fajitas were excellent, and the service and atmosphere were very good. The chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve eaten! Very fresh!
