The food is great here! It’s my go to for quick takeout that is inexpensive and delicious. I get it just for my family and even sometimes when I am having people over for dinner and can’t be bothered to cook. Just with the pupusas alone they have something for everyone! Everything I have ever ordered was delicious and freshly made.
I just went in the other day and saw they had made some updates to the patio to go along with a bunch of the other updates they have made over the past year. Forest park is lucky to have this awesome spot!

The wait was ridiculous, but honestly, it was worth every minute. The food was very fresh, the customer service was friendly, and the prices were decent. They do have some English-speaking staff, but brushing up on your Spanish or using a translator on your phone definitely helps. Everything tasted great—especially the quesadilla, the taco, and the virgin piña colada.

The food is absolutely incredible! Highly highly recommend the seafood soup! So many different types of seafood including half a crab! We also got the yuca fries which were pretty good! The one down side was the food took a pretty long time, but that might just be because of what we ordered. The atmosphere was great too, pretty crowded but not too crowded. Overall, will definitely be going back and a must stop place if you are near the airport.

Somebody recommended this place to me but I did not like the pupusas because they were lacking so much flavor. But the place is nice & clean… UPDATE: i loveeeeee their tamales fritos & desayuno típico, comida deliciosa ↕️

My partner knows how much I love plantains so he took me here for the first time and just know, we come here at least 2 times a week.
The ladies are sweet, attentive and never experienced a long wait for our food.
No, it isn’t a red snapper but this dish takes me home . Fish is well seasoned, was perfectly cooked and soft. Sweet plantain wasn’t too soft which how I love them. The RICE? just know I took my partners rice too. If you want to spice it up, let someone know

So we came to try some pupusas and they didn’t disappoint. My fave was actually the chicharron with cheese was amazing. They are $4 and they a good big size. Ee tried the Colombian empanadas but they were ok. The horchata was really yummy but I think it sucks that it isn’t refilled with costing $6 so they should.

I ordered the mojarra frita and the beans and rice were good but the fish tasted a lil old like if it was previously fried then reheated it had some tough parts so I guess if u order that just make sure it’s fresh and not overcooked

It was good for a change. The food is bland but it came out hot. No jalapenos. The food should probably have a 3, one thing they should not do is bring a pretty good size of cabbage salad in a reusable container, they could (I didn’t say they did) serve to someone else. I was very leary eating it because of that. I think for health reasons and cleanliness they should just bring a little dish to the side.

Good popusas, my only complaint is that the chicharrón con queso is mostly cheese and little to no chicharrón (photo attached). Noticed that tip is automatically applied, maybe that’s why their service is okay. They offer water in a cup that tastes like faucet water (don’t recommend it). Bottled water is an extra charge. Agua fresca de mango tastes like watered down jumex. Agua fresca de horchata was good and you can actually taste the cinnamon.
