It’s was such an amazing place, they really make you feel welcome. The waitress and the bartender are the owners of the place. If you need a place to throw a party let them know and they will work with you, even event fee free.

If you’re looking for real, comforting, soul-warming Mexican food in Fillmore, this spot is hands-down the best I’ve found so far. The menudo? On another level. Seriously — rich flavor, perfect texture, and that homemade taste you only get when someone truly knows what they’re doing in the kitchen. And the michelada… there are no words. Just amazing. Refreshing, balanced, and exactly what you want on a weekend morning.
Prices are super affordable, and you still get great quality and generous portions. It’s rare to find a place that gives you both. This restaurant has definitely become my go-to in Fillmore, and honestly, the best I’ve tried around here so far. Highly recommend checking it out for yourself.

Fantastic experience at Los Altos! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The micheladas with shrimp were an absolute game-changer – refreshing, perfectly seasoned, and garnished with shrimp and fresh cucumbers.
Now, let’s talk about the food. The asada burrito was a flavorful. Tender, juicy beef, savory beans, home made rice and just the right amount of salsa. The arrachera fajitas were a sizzling fresh, with perfectly grilled steak and vibrant, crisp veggies that left us craving for more.
And let’s not forget about the salsa and chips! The salsa boasted a perfect balance of heat and tanginess, while the chips were crispy and addictively delicious. If you’re looking for hidden menu item, ask for their queso bean dip -perfect to dip everything in!
Overall, Los Altos offers home-made authentic food paired with impeccable service, flavorful dishes, and a cozy ambiance, it’s a must-visit for any one stopping by Fillmore.

Visiting our friend in Fillmore and we decided to try this newly opened spot that replaced Genmai Sushi – evidence are in the chairs! We opted for outdoor seating and was welcomed with very loud music and I asked to turn down just a tad so we can hear ourselves talking. Very friendly hosts, there were 4 of us and we ordered 2 types of fajitas, seafood tostadas and pollo ranchero. Food was just OK, oddly they only provide forks to eat. They also provided warm tortillas and were very good eaten with the fajitas but lacked salsa so I dipped into the pollo ranchero gravy and that worked well. Portions are on the smaller side especially the sides. Water is bottled only, we also got horchata which came with free refills. We brought some dessert for our friend’s birthday and they offered to put the cake in cooler and brought out dessert plates for us which was very nice of them.
They’re new and still trying to find their groove – also found that the sign posted outside shows beers listed 50¢ cheaper than what’s posted inside. Total came out to $70 for 4, we spent a few hours chatting and didn’t get any bad vibes from them. The only downside for me is they’re cash only operation

Ordered two chicken fajita plates. Have to pay $5 for chips and salsa. The salsa was not hot or even salsa. It took a long time for me to get my fajita’s. 20 minutes into it I’m waiting for my son’s plate to come and never shows up so I asked. They never made his plate. So he had to wait another 15 minutes for his food. By then we were over it. And they charged us for coca cola in a can. SMH 2 bucks really?!
