There’s not much to say other than this is the best taco spot in all of KC. After 20+ visits, I still wouldn’t rate this place under a 4-5. Great prices, bjg servings, great side plates full of limes, grilled onions, salsa, etc. The wait time is never over 15 minutes long. This is a perfect spot for people wanting to dine in for some authentic Mexican cuisines.

My family and I loved this place! We are Hispanic, originally from South Texas, which means we’re right by the border of Mexico. We are used to street Tacos and we haven’t had a street Taco in KC THIS good! True authentic Mexican street tacos. Made me feel like I was thousands of miles back at home while eating here, which made my Latina heart so happy.

Atmosphere pretty good. Definitely should move away from paper plates but it is what it is. Open till about 11 which is nice after soccer at 9th and van brunt. Be careful w the area but you should be fine.

Best Authentic Mexican food in Kansas City. I’ve lived in kc for most of my adult life and the restaurant is the best I’ve had here. Not like those OVERPRICED gentrified white folk tacos in Westport and waldo. This food is AU-THEN-TIC.

Real deal Mexican taqiuera here. Service for us English speaking folk was awesome. Food is delicious hot and fast. If you like Micheladas. You must try one here. Love the the home made table side hot sauce.

Out STANDING. My fav of all the Northeast taco places. Pablo and his wife have added a wonderful red hot salsa. I had thought it was Birria, but it is not. They serve a Birria plate now, and some sort of fish plate. “Fritas” or something. Had 3 tacos asado (my usual). Love that Birria sauce! BIG improvement that takes him up a level. The most inexpensive joint. Tacos were $1.90 now. He always adds whatever extra I want free of charge. Sour cream, cheese, tomato, lettuce. I always get a grilled jalapeno (they always have a bunch ready made). Gets sweet, but still fire hot! This is like a typical taqueria in Mexico. Will visit again, and again! I hardly ever give 5 star. Bang for a buck, tis is my favorite. That meal was $7.50 w/drink. 3 tacos. ALSO…. Pablo has rice and beans. If I ask, he gives them to me for free, and he will just load it on boy!

Here on business and wanted to try something out of the norm. I’m glad I did. Food was great, service was great. Everyone was extremely nice and literally had my food to the table in 3‐4 minutes. Spicier than the run of the mill restaurants im used too. Great job to Los Altos Jalisco.

A lot of places can have tacos de lengua, but not many get them right with both texture and flavor. Most would say those are the hardest tacos to get right, and this place made them absolutely delicious!

I love authentic Mexican style tacos and this place has several options. I tried pastor, chorizo, and lengua and all were good. The sauces were good as well. The building is a little older, but not out of line for an authentic taco joint.
