My friends and I went a couple days after Christmas. It wasn’t busy around 6:30-7:00pm, which was great because we were hungry. I was skeptical at first though, but just chalked it up to it being the holidays as to why people weren’t there.
I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes. I thought this would be just like your standard Mexican restaurant, but wow. The rice especially was so flavorful and cooked perfectly (I love Spanish rice). Presentation was immaculate for all of our dishes. I was just really impressed with the quality of the food. Probably one of the better, if not best, Mexican restaurants I’ve tried. Maybe the only downside if you like the chips and salsa is they will charge after your 3rd basket if you want more. I don’t foresee that being a problem for me, but just keep that in mind if you really like the tortilla chips.
Service was also great. Our server was so nice and even offered spicy salsa. No idea if it cost more for that as my friend treated us, but we went for it as a couple of us likes spicy – and it was actually spicy!
I forgot to take a photo before I dug in, so here’s a 1/3 eaten plate. 10/10 would go again.

Another great meal!! Seafood Enchiladas and Burrito Texano, Queso cheese dip.
Burrito was huge and stuffed. Enchiladas stuffed, as well. Nice plate presentations.
Always a great place….highly recommend giving it a try. You shouldn’t walk away hungry.

Fantastic Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa are very good, somewhere between mild and medium with a great flavor. The entrees are excellent and ample, we always leave with next days lunch. The margaritas are another highlight! Great selection, and they don’t skimp on the tequila!

This place was nothing short of absolutely marvelous! From the door, we were seated immediately, service was outstanding, place was cleaned, and food was scrumptious! Has both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a wide selection of drinks and food for what I think is a great price. AND the best part is, is that it’s only 5 minutes from my house! We will certainly be back!

Had the molcajete at 27.00. It was fabulous!! I wish I had taken a picture!! Lime margaritas and beef enchiladas rice and beans ( #3.) Beers were large, 24 oz. ! Margaritas medium at 10.00 Just 2 of us Flan for dessert! Which we took home for later as we always go early to dinner to avoid a rush . I usually order enchiladas verde but went for the molcajete Alfredo waited on us. Very professional, courteous. Took ownership of his job. Go here! You will not be disappointed. Great for families, couples and cousins!

We’ve eaten here multiple times and each time the service was great, food was fresh, hot, and quick. The chicken inside the burrito was moist and seasoned perfectly, the jalapeño margarita delicious and the right level of spice, and the molcajete is to die for…the best we’ve found in DSM. Do yourself a favor and order it (it’s big so if you may want to share). The chorizo in it is so flavorful, the grilled shrimp and onions incredible and cooked perfectly, and the grilled cheese AMAZING. It comes with fresh tortillas, cilantro, beans, rice, sour cream, and tomatoes. Each meat is perfection and I promise you will be WOW’d.
Restaurant and bathrooms and easily accessible and very clean. We sat on the patio once and the chairs were not comfortable so we moved inside. Easy fix and it definitely won’t stop us from visiting because the food has been sooooo worth it and delish!
We love supporting local and are so happy they moved into the neighborhood.

Delicious chicken enchiladas with verde sauce!!! These are my favorite and i haven’t had this good of ones in a very long time!! I just found my new favorite mexican restaurant!!! Thank you!!

Hospitality Matters and It Was Missing Here.
We came here for the first time after seeing the high Google ratings, but the service did not match our expectations. From the start the female server was unwelcoming and took our order without writing it down. I even pointed directly to the menu photo with the printed name to be clear. When my husband’s and child’s food arrived, mine did not. The server only said something like “wrong order” without any clear explanation, so I waited.
When my plate finally came out the second time, it was still wrong. The dish I pointed to clearly showed fish and shrimp with the correct name underneath, but the plate I received had no fish. When we raised it, the same server walked over, pointed at the photo and said I had ordered that. I confirmed yes, that was exactly the picture I pointed to. She leaned in, looked at the name and picture again, then just said “Oh” and walked away no apology, no responsibility. I had to wait another 15 minutes while my family had already finished eating.
One male server later apologized, but the lack of accountability from the first server left the strongest impression. The food was average, portions small for the price, and even the restroom was disappointing—the smaller one was already dirty when we arrived as the first customers of the day. Dining out should feel welcoming and respectful, and there are many other Mexican restaurants with kind, responsible staff who deserve our support more.
