I’ve always enjoyed the burritos at Los Alazanes, and they’ve never let me down. This location is usually pretty quiet, which makes for a nice atmosphere. However, on a recent visit, I decided to try the shrimp cocktail due to the heat, and I was extremely disappointed. The cocktail tasted off—almost raunchy. When the server came by and asked how it was, we let him know it wasn’t good, but he didn’t offer to replace it or remove it from the table. It just sat there untouched. I’ll stick to the burritos in the future, but this experience was a real letdown. Their agua Fresca are amazing.

We thought it couldn’t be THAT bad. It was. We had easy stuff too. My husband who eats anything , couldn’t eat the hard chewy cheese enchilada with hard dry rice and good beans. Clean restaurant and friendly server. But this is not good food. No complimentary chips and salsa. It’s $4.

I got enchiladas and potatoe tacos, it was bland taste and they put red sauce on my chicken enchilada tasted like sauce, couldn’t taste the chicken and my beef enchilada was next to it,but the flavor of the meat was bland, tacos were bland no seasoning on the potato, husband got wet burrito was tasty, empanadas was cold like a pastry from a store,I thought it should have been warm from the kitchen,but unfortunately not”. Something smelled a off on the red sauce and rice and beans had been from yesterday wasn’t fresh,went there about eleven in the day so should had been fresh, spent $38 bucks,will go to Arturo’s always fresh & cooked right, just wanted to give it another chance but alazanes didn’t do well again on the food quality

Stay away from this place. I took the time to log in just to post . To start my order was wrong , called the place and the cashier acted like she wasn’t the the one who screwed up . She said bring the burrito back.
I was like do you think I’m about to drive 20 minutes Just to return your horrible burrito so I can receive the same . Plus my time and my gas. I’ll rather take the loss and never go back .

I was very disappointed! I’ve been to this location several times in the past. I was always satisfied with the food (very good) the service always good. I’ve often recommended this location to others. Today though I was very disappointed, with the service( didn’t seem to understand my order) got what I wanted after reexplaining my order. The rice and beans were cold and not flavorful, like I’ve enjoyed in the past, not a good experience, sorry to say. Maybe this was just one of those times when, maybe there was a different cook or something. After all of this, I’m not deterred. As I mentioned I had good experiences in the past, so I’m not going to let this one time quit coming to this location.

As always, their burritos lived up to the hype I give them. I brought my older brother there, raving about their food. I ordered the chili relleno burrito and my brother ordered something not a burrito. We were both very happy with the appearance and taste of our food. Neither of us could finish our food. Definitely generous portions. I gave my leftover burrito to my son who also loved it.
If you want Mexican (Tex-Mex?), this restaurant is an excellent choice!

Decided to go in today cause all the other food places were packed and only 2 people at the restaurant today. The inside of the building in food sit down area had no a/c or even ventilation going. It was so hot in the building my ice in my drink melted in a few minutes and watered my drink down and the food was super bland and the rice had a cardboard texture to it and when you ate it it tasted like dry sand. The enchilada sauce had almost a rancid smell and taste to it. Skip 2 hours later and stomach pains and vomiting possible food poisoning. Advise to skip this place at all cost!

I love the other locations! However the phelan location is terrible. I’ve gone 3 times this year to this location. I keep saying “oh I’ll give them one more chance!” Only bc I love the other locations… however TODAY is the last time they will get my business. I ordered a chicken burrito. $9.95 I asked for heavy cilantro and onion. I got charged $1.45 for cilantro and another $1.45 for onion. Which should already come on a chicken burrito. All in total with the use of my card my total was $14.60! FOR ONE PUNY BURRITO. I get it… it’s cold, there’s barely any chicken on it, the entire thing was horribly small and was not folded well. The flavor was old and dry on what little meat there was, the rice had to have been from yesterday… with all that said…. THE WORST BURRITO I’ve ever eaten! And I threw half away! $14.60 for a shitty burrito…. Yea they lost my business for sure
